scattered showers won't hurt your vacation! Don't you plan to get wet anyways? :-)

Scattered showers here doesn't mean much. As I was taking the kids to school this morning, the windshield picked up some sprinkles but not enough to wet the glass. Had to use the wipers once to clean up the mess.

'Scattered showers' can also mean that it is raining on the next street or across the island but not where you are. Always warm, too.

Glen, I don't understand that either, I LOVE diving in the rain! I think it feels different, more peaceful or something...

It's percussive therapy Kelly.

Kelly, you're right...it is VERY cool to look up and see it raining on the surface (providing you're diving where you can see the surface from 40+ feet)

It's the percs, baby. You got your percussion, your brass, your strings, your woodwinds. Percussive, like percussion, means something's hitting something, like hammers on a piano.

Ahhh...I see now Master...I was thinking through tunnel as one cannot hear rain hitting surface while under the sea...yet...rain hitting gear is most percussive indeed...

Would not the patter of raindrops on my head also be gentle 'percussive therapy'??? But I don't like the rain before or after. Ah, well,we don't always like what is good for us, do we? :–)

I never really understood why the spectacle free much mind the rain at all, Glenn. Unless it's cold rain. I'd rather have sunshine, but the sun can't shine every day.

LooHoo, try sticking them in your pocket next rainstorm and see if you can't get around fine (not suggesting you drive while visually impaired) I have found I can get where I'm going pretty easily and safely with my specs in my pocket, Mr.Magoo notwithstanding. I can't see the big E on the chart without them, but how well do you need to see to do most things?
