Just found out that I booked me and my gf's vacation to bonaire in mid-june, exactly when the Dutch soccer team is playing its first matches during the EC in Portugal. (june 15 against Germany!)

Ray, City Cafe will show all matches in a very special setting. You won't have to miss anything.

Are you kidding? Even if you don't know a Dutch match is on TV, let alone an EC match, you just have to look downtown--if the streets are empty (and it's not because of rain), then there's football on--some offices even close to watch. For the really big matches, bars like City Cafe, Karel's, De Tuin, etc. even set up stadium style seating, although this quickly turns into SRO. I've even seen hotels turn a conference room into a theatre w/big screen TV. If you really want to blend in, wear as much orange colored clothing as possible, and be prepared to sing "We are the Champions" at the top of your lungs.

Hi Ruth! I am almost sure that my wife and I will be the only ones dressed in blue/yellow and singing "Vi är Mästarna" which means "We are the Champs" in Swedish.............
