Morning all

We have a nice sunny start in the UK today.

I found this which is a montage of our favourite breed of Dog. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xj4MdiV5ClU&feature=related

Good Morning Brian* and all to follow. That is a handsome breed of dog.
I am going to an 8am graduation of one of my coworkers. The college is 30 miles away on the beach in St. Petersburg, Eckerd College. So I had better get ready and go.I'll see you all later.
Have a great day.

Awww, I just love dogs :-)

Linda - 8am graduation, that just seems cruel (but then again, I'm not a morning person).

Today will be an interesting day. I'm picking up my new foster collie, Lola. I fear the name will have to change as I will be singing Barry Manilow in my head every time I call her name. LOL

She's 18 months old and apparently a real sweetie. She and her sister were dumped at a shelter because they were "herding" the children. Ummm... she's a collie, it's what they do?? Ah, well, you can't fix stupid!

Here's a picture of the little darlin... wish us luck, Jingles is a bit of a jealous boy so her stay here could be interesting:-)

Lola

Good luck with LOLA, LO LO LO LO LOLA...HA! She is a cutie. I'm off to find pedialyte on island. Should be fun. Wish me luck. :-)

I just read that....8 am graduation? Are they trying to beat the heat? Yikes! I thought a 10 am graduation was early.

Good morning all.
Beckey, you rock for all the good you do. I can see why you and Tribs get along so well.

Nice way to start a Sunny Sunday Brian.

Off to work for me.

Well it has cooled down here, yesterday it only reached 92, today is supposed to be the same. We have a school fair today, Rianna and I are on snow cone duty (oh yeah, I know the right jobs to choose!)
Lola is beautiful, did the people really say they got rid of her for "herding the children"? My collie (I had him 21 years!) kept us healthy as we grew up "herding" us to safety.
Everyone stay cool and have a wonderful Sunday!
Brian, love your doggies too!
8 a.m. graduation, what kind of crazy person set that up???

Hi all. I'm back from my coworker/friends graduation. Of course I had a late start and thought I had missed her walking in, but boy did I luck out. Just as I walked up with video in hand - there was Marla walking in line in her cap and gown. I shouted her name and she was so surprised to see me. It was just my lucky day and I ran into her best friend, sister and son. We all sat together and cheered when she walked across the stage. Finally at 52 she has her BA. I'll post pictures and video later - probably a lot later.
The weather was very hot and muggy, overcast and breezy. Just the way I like it being a sailor. This campus is on the very southern tip of the county and sticks out into Tampa Bay. There is a white sand beach behind the tent that housed the occasion and Eckerd College sail boats were sailing back and forth behind the stage.

Morning Everyone!!! We're still hot here but the hubby is home and we're having a lovely day. I made us breakfast of scrambled eggs, leftover ribeye and asparagus topped with hollandaise --- YUMMY!! Oh and an ice cold Corona :-)

Our cats have only been outside for 3 hours and have already brought home 4 lizzards. They don't kill them.... just play with them too much.

Brian, Jerry was right.... nice way to start off the day.

Becky, LoLa is downright beautiful. I love the name.

XM Freedom radio is playing some really diverse stuff this morning so I'm off to play in the garden while Andrea Bocelli, Bono, the Bluemen and anyone else they throw in plays on our outdoor speakers.....
Kitaro "Island of Life" is playing now

Sundays with the whole family home are such a gift :-) :-)

See ya'll later!!!
Enjoy your day

Brian, wonderful pics:-)

It's still hotter than hades here, but I am nice and comfy with the AC unit next to my head. Getting up the gumption to head to the workout room and sweat a few pounds off.

Becky, good luck with Jingles and the cute doggie.

Linda, 8 am is too early for sure.

Hello FUDGE!!! what a cutie-patootie!!!
Thanks Roy - now that's some Puppy Porn for sure :-)

Still having a lovely day here. I've scrubbed my kitchen, bath and basically the house - still battling the ants for ownership. It's nice to have a clean house so I think I'm winning :-)
Have done a little cooking and laundry, just now popping open a bottle of white wine to cool off a bit.

I sure wish everyday could be like today :-)

Sad you're home, Glad to have you safely back!!!!

I've gotten a bit cranky here.... the ants are winning the battle of my home and I'm ready to throw a grenade in my kitchen!!!! I told Guy that I was calling a pest control company tomorrow.
BESIDES the fact that he found a Black Widow last week and the day after that a HUGE a$$ spider in the gym....
I tried... really I did.

Off to bed for us now...
See you kids in the morning

Mystic.... you're beautiful!!!

I took those shots from the porch here in North Belnem. In the second one you can see the Bellafonte (sp).

Glad you made it home safely Kobi. Boom....hang in there. I fight the bug battle every year with ants. They really like the special dental food we feed the cats. If one kibble gets on the floor we end up with a swarm. Ugh...

Excellent shot there Tribs, but to truly get that Cecil effect you want the flowers in focus and the sunset fuzzy. Point the camera at the flowers and press the button half down, then rotate up and press the rest of the way.

It's funny we were looking through Bonaire pictures and Sue commented not another flower sunset. They always want more, don't they.
