Snowy Egret

Snowy Egret

The Snowy Egret can be recognised by a bare yellow patch at the base of it's black bill and by it's black legs and yellow feet. It feeds at the edge of inner bays and lagoons but may also be seen along the coast in shallow water and fresh water pools and transitory rain pools.
