Greetings All!

I was just at the sanctuary during my trip and spoke with Marina. Evidently BTers did not adopt a donkey this year(?) I asked which donkey was the BT donkey, because of course I forgot the name, and was informed that the BTers did not have one this year. Is anyone interested in doing this again?

The sanctuary is incredible! The babies are so sweet there, as are all of the donkeys. I wish there was more that could be done for Marina and her efforts.

Jeannie, we adopted 2 donkey's 2 years ago, Sandy and Gilian. Last year I adopted Sandy on my own, and Wally adopted Gilian, and we raised and donated enough money to adopt another one (this was last December). We have the fund drive in the fall to adopt the donkeys...this is a good time to start raising money again!

I am embaressed to say that we have not made it to the Donkey Sactuary yet, next month I will go.

Cynde, I don't know if there was any money left in the donations for my family but if there is, maybe you could add it to the Donkey adoption '05????
