Annie I post again the satellite map I posted on the former thread. As you can see, there is a tropical storm heading to Yucatan, that's why northern Venezula and Caribbeans have so much rain today. Must be the tropical storm tail.

A friend who just came back from Bonaire emailed me the following "We did do a dive down across from the salt flats. About half way thru the dive they must have opened some sort of flood gate, and this salty water came rolling down the reef . . . It ruined the visibility. That was really weird. It didn't seem to be hurting the reef, it looked pretty healthy, but I wonder how often they did that!"
Does anybody know how frequently they do this? and is there a schedule they follow?

Hi gang, I am back and here's your drink, Martin. Cold as you ordered.
Annie pretty good shot, Cecil is right, it is a beautiful Jo's close up.
Denise, I wonder if the matter you are talking is not a thermocline effect. July is the season and it perfectly looks what you described. The salt density is suddenly different which gives this poor blur visibility band and a cold sensation as well when you dive beneath this line. You have the feeling to dive in melting salt water. It usually happens close to 12-15m ( around 30 feet if I counted well ). Geez, I wonder if I explained properly.
o23 It seems the rains has stopped and the sun is around the corner.
