Good morning all,
Did someone see the lunar eclipse tonight ? It should have been gorgeous on Bonaire and USA. Unfortunately, it doesn't appear on the cam at the present time and the moon should still be in it's partial phase for a little while. We woke up at 3.30 AM to see it but the conditions were poor in Paris due to a light cirrus cover. Well, need to go or work. Anyone lurking for a fresh coffee to share with me ?

'Morning... I did see the tail end of the lunar eclipse not long after the moon rose over the left coast. The sky was clear, which is not an everyday occurrence in Oregon. I was leaving the theater where the Eugene Symphony concluded their season with Shostakovich's 5th Symphony, which I tell you simply to set the mood. It was quite beautiful to watch as I drove home.

Good Morning All! MMMM, Thank-you for the coffee Martine. We could not catch the eclipse last night either, rainy weather . Definately looking forward to the long weekend! I took a half day off to beat all the long weekend traffic.

Hi gang, I am ( at last ) back from work. They are still on strike and people start to be very upset.
Jean Paul observed the eclipse at our astronomy club. For the second time in 10 days he has been filmed by the french channel 2 TV and showed on the midday news report :o) The problem now is he used his car to get there ( 50 km far from Paris ) and went direct by car to his office. As he has to bring the car home, he presently is trapped in the enormous trafic jams ( strike plus week end rush ). It would be certainly wise from me to think about a cold dinner. Jake, I saw your eclipse pics. Jake, welcome to the amateur astronomer club, you truly are very clever. Congratulations. In compensation, can I turn your step cam cleaner when I retire ?
