Goodnight Dan. It's a slow morning here without Martine around. I'm officially on vacation now but still on my night schedule so I'm awake cleaning house and packing. I leave for Bonaire tomorrow!!! Anyone else around for coffee?

Have a great trip Gail. I've been home from Bonaire for 5 weeks now and man alive, I could easily turn around and head back in a NY minute! Enjoy your time and safe diving.

Good morning, everyone. Gee, where's Martine?

She's gone and looks like all the fish and divers are gone. Least wise, there's nothing exciting on the cams right now except a boat.

Bluetang, Annie, I am soooo disappointed that you cannot recognize a seahorse when you see one.
C'mon guys.

I've been checking the Bonairecams now and then. I always waited to see something unique. This afternoon, to my surprise, I glimpsed the rarely seen Donkey-Fish! I've been to Bonaire several times. Love every minute. The webcams fill in the gaps between trips. Thank you each for your sunrise pics. I'm awake at sunrise, but it's an hour later.

Yep,she's a seahorse all right.
Actually,we found two of the seahorses today out by the moorings north of the webcam.

I have to report that the diving nun had a squeaker trans-plant from a Tiger shark last August. It was a difficult operation, first a squeakerectomy on the shark, then the transplant, and fingers crossed that she did not reject the squeaker. Eight months later, and she is better than new, and back to work. She has, however, since lost interest in diving. I think she is afraid her squeaker will get rusted upin the salt water. In fact, we didn'teven bring the old girl with us this time, as she is in a locker at the Belasco Theater, where she was helping with the load-in of Enchanted April.
I thought her fans would want to know.
Seb

Later I will post The Tale of the Baby Flamingo
