Good morning gang,
We are up, as usual on this side of the big blue, and I am glad I am not working. Today France is on strike ( no train, no busses, no metro, no schools, no administrations, nearly no everything, that means a real shambles ). Typically french... Today we are claiming against the new retirment reform program ! I didn't unsterstood quite well, this only thing I know is we'll work longer...Jean Paul left home at 6.30 AM to get to his office and thought it was a good idea to phone me to say he arrived safely evil. Fresh coffee for those interested. Have a nice day.

Hoe gaan det Olaf ! I was waiting for you...
The last time I was on the barricades was in May 1968, quite a long time... I forgot to say there is no (Air France) planes as well, and I do apreciate I am off today.
I am glad you liked The Reefcam dwellers. I loved to do it but it couldn't have been possible without every Bters help, and especially from Cynde and Annie. Here's the url again for the potential today newbies : http://bonaire.talks.free.fr/
I wish Jake would make a link to it, but I feel I am doing some advertising blush
They are about to wake up on the other side. I bet Eileen is popping out in a minute. Nearly lunch time for us. I wonder if Jos is working today as he is flying tomorrow. Lucky him... Enjoy your day. See you later.

Time to unplug... Thank-you Martine! I love the waves. I hope everything goes well with the traffic in France today (we've had the odd strike where it just makes a mess of the drive).

Have a great day everyone! 1

Good Morning Everyone,
Just popping in as I make my lunch (to take to work). It has been a busy week so haven't had much time after work to look in. Good thing you are off today Martine so you don't have to try to get to work.

Morning Carol,
You're right, I imagine the traffic jam is should have been at the morning rush hour. I could hear the horns concert from my bedroom. have a nice day.

Sping is finally here! In the 80s today! I need to get out my spring clothes. I have to do that this weekend to get ready for Bonaire.

Bon Dia ,All!!
Martine an extra day off...Good! Enjoy. I am loving the RCD's but my computer cuts off most of the pictures on the left hand side of the screen. Isn't that weird? Any idea why?
Carol when do you leave? Myself, I am always getting ready to leave for Bonaire.....even though I don't have a specific date(yet) . I just know I'm going. Soon!:-) margarite

Hi Margarite,
This is not an extra day off, I luckily am not on duty today ( alas, I have to go back working tomorrow, and I'll be punished the whole week end ). I don't know what's happening with your puter cutting the RCD pics. I do not notice anything special here. Have you tried the reducing/enlarge pic button ? Oh, I forgot to say, minus 65 days before we get there... Have a nice day. Carol, I truly thought, last week, to swap my winter clothes for summer ones, but I fear I have to wait a little bit more... It snowed again on the mountains last night and my feet are cold as ice. Just 10 degrees Celsius in the sun when last week we were over 30... Too chilly these past two days.

Darn ... I promised myself a slow and easy day, but it didn't turn out to be ..
Anyway .. nice grabs Martine & Eileen ..

Over 30C last week ???
Martine, where are you at in France ?
Le sud, l'ouest ou a Paris ?
We got to 21/22 last week (Rotterdam)

Oh .. forgot to say .. 21 days :-):-):-)

Olaf, I am not kidding, I had 30° in the sun last week on my kitchen window in Paris and I worked bare armed on the tarmac these last two weeks.

Time to get up in Calif ? Soon, we'll hear from Dan then...
I have just watch the evening TV news, it was a real ....(censured) in paris today.
Jean Paul is just coming back right now, he had to walk quite a bit from the railway ( afterall it's good for his fitness mdr ), and fortunetaly, I prepared a rather cold dinner just in case... so no problem.
See you later gang.

Good morning. Yes, it is I, checking in before heading for work.

Was going to accuse Martine of not cleaning the cam lens lately, show, but I see Jake did it so this is really a whole bunch of little fish, not a dirty lens. Thanks, Jake!

Clear and cold today. 21F/-6C. Hey, you need to check out www.juneauphotos.com today. Talk about "surf" action? (Lynn Canal is in the Juneau area.)

Off to work am I. See you in a few hours.

WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Does this sound excited???
I surely hope so!
16 hours till take-off, I'm totally exhausted, Martine , I'll take 3 days at work instead of one day packing the final things to bring along!!
BTW, loads of mjummy chocalates, don't know if they'll make it to Bonaire ;-) Most likely to be at the gate at 2 teusdays from now , Bt dinner also possible maybe.

What's up with the surf anyway???
Couple of years ago we did a honeymoon divingcourse at Dominican Republic and had WAY to much surf there (can you puke at 15 feet below surface??? Yes you can!!!)
At least somebody could, not me luckily)

Well, time for me to log of now. Gotta get me some really good night sleep, I've got an earry feeling it might be the last for quite some hours.
I'm looking forward to meet all kind of nice people on the plane: "yes , sorry, that's my kiddo, no sorry we're not insured" ;-)))

Goodnight to all and keep an eye open for me on either one of the cams.

Mary Lou, I hope tomorrow will be OK and no problem to go to the airport, anyway, I will be thinking 64,64,64...
Dan, Jake knows if he needs a permanent cam cleaner..... but apparently, he is not interseted decu, but I wont give up !
Gang, I feel tired tonight so I think this will be my last post. Need to rest my head and relax. I think april 10th week end will surely be hard for me.
Have a nice evening. I'll see the sunset pics when having my breakfast tomorrow morning.
