Good morning. I know some Europeans are awake. (Maybe they are afraid of us now...) I am headed to bed. Could the world please get a grip while I'm asleep?

Goodmorning Niki and Jos ...
We're not really afraid I think Niki .. :o)
Although it's sad things have to work out this way .. it's all pretty weird, unnecessary imo ..
Let's hope it's all over soon ..
Maybe these people need to chill at Bon more often, so to see what life's about ...
Make dives, not war ...

Hi Olaf, I look at your profile pic and have a big smile. I can just feel that exact feeling where you were. The air, the water, all of it. May 24, here I come.

It seems I was in the wrong thread, here a copy of my post;
Goog morning all,
Well, as I told yesterday, today is a harsh day in France due to the railways strike. I went to the railway station, waited around 45 minutes and no train coming. The platform was so crowded, it was impossible to try to approach. I finally called the airport and said I've better stay home.Hiya ! Well, I won't loose that day, I'm going to to some food shopping to the chinese district. We'll have sushi tonight for dinner :o)
I dare not imagine how it will be around 6pm for the return work rush... have a nice day, catch you later.

Olaf, I feel unfair from you to post such a picture :o) !
Good chances we are at the same place doing the same thing in june.

Salut Martine, I still haven't gone to sleep. Sushi sounds great. Better than a frustrating day fighting a railway strike. Are we overlapping in June?

Bye bye Dan et salut Nikki,
I have got everything to prepare the sushis, Mmmmm!
We usually assist the Bonaire dive festival when we are going in june. Jake, we are impatient to compete for digital pictures or movies. Will it be allowed this year ? I am sure last year we would have been primed with our whale shark shots :o)
I must first have my vacations fixed with Air France, but it might be second part of june.
Must return to the shop, I forgot the avocado :o( (essential for the vegetarian sushi)

Yes, get that avocado, Martine. An essential ingredient. When I lived in Florida we had avocado orchards all around us. Can't get good ones this time of year up north here--at least at a reasonable price. Now you've got me thinking about guacamole.

Meanwhile a boat is on scene.

Good morning, everyone. Did manage to struggle out of bed this morning, even though it was a very late night for me (uh, early morning??).

How was the sushi, Martine? Did you get the avocado?

Talk about expensive! They're about $2.25 apiece here. Needless to say, we don't eat many at this time of year.

Jean Paul came back home with 3 DVD ( old peplum movies ), so I think i am going to bed while watching at "the fall of the roman empire " nice cast ( Sophia Loren,Stephen Boyd, Alec Guinness, John Ireland etc, etc ). Will wake up speaking latin. Ave, Lutecia te salutat. Sorry, I don't recall haw to say goodnight ( more than 40 years I studied latin...).
