My computer has died two weeks ago.

Please say hi for me on the BT-Board. I don't have the time to chat while
I'm working because two colleague are sick (one of them is my friend) and
at home I don't have a computer for the moment. I hope to be back by the
end of this week or by the start of the next one. So I'll be back :-)

Good morning all! How is everyone. I did forget a very important part of my report. Underwater visibility was pretty poor. Down to about 40 feet! Felt like I was diving in Lake Superior, only a lot warmer!!

Bill- keep that in mind and have fun!!

Joost- No, bright's, mostly Amstel, Polar, and margarita's (I don't recommend having a margarita from Rum Runners- YUCK!!!)

Marion- the island seemed overrun with Dutch tourists compared to last year. Surprisingly, not a lot of cruise ships were in either! Coincidence?

I'm not sure. A lot of tourists. When we were leaving there was a flight (KLM I think) getting ready to leave for Peru. They had been in France and were on their way home. I will say that at least Flamingo Airport finally has a place that is air conditioned now that KLM is there!!! Do you have Mardi Gras to celebrate? Due to Carnival, they had Lac Bay on an abbreviated schedule so we missed it on Sunday (we had a boat dive scheduled and I took a nap because I was still pretty sick). Carnival was worth it though!

Angela the two KLM flights are flying directly from A'dam to Bonaire (first stop) and then one goes to Lima-Peru and the other to Quito-Equador
On their way back they stop again in Bon collecting passengers and then nonstop to A'dam.
Believe me the number of tourists is growing

I agree that if the divers show, we should use that as the start of a new thread. If not, an afternoon thread would be in order. This is getting long.

Angela,

I heard they had some special offers in Holland for flights to Bonaire. Imaging, in high season and Carnaval. On those daily flights there are only 30-35 seats reserved for passengers for Bonaire. I guess they were not all taken and a lot of people came last minute.
