Good morning, everyone!
Well, its not "good morning" here. Its 8:09 p.m. on Monday, but I thought I'd get my licks in early.
For all of you who care (and, of course, I know you all do), when figuring time in Juneau, just subtract five hours from Bon time. You'll hit it on the nose!
And, to satisfy the webcam police, here is what it looks like underwater at 1:08 a.m.

Well, this is a truly good morning, hard to keep my eyes open this morning. I went to bed VERY late yesterday evening, or VERY early this morning. This is just to say hello and wish you a nice day full of beautiful posts I find when I am back from work.

The darkish discoloration in the upper left quadrant is a scratch on the red filter of the ReefCam. I've just assembled another red filter lens "cap" which I will install in a few days (wearing my tropical dry suit to stay warm this time!).

The white stuff is particulate matter in the water, same as yesterday.

The occasional fuzziness of the image is electrical (a ringing effect like one gets on broadcast TV signals, as best I can tell). Trying to track it down with help from a video expert in the States.

Well Everybody, I am back from the great beyond (AKA Bonaire). You guys did manage to capture a few images of our group. (Sunday Sunday Annette #3844, Middle of the Week John Lidington #969, and Annette #3905). I hung out in front of the reefcam for quite a while on Wednesday, I believe, and nobody captured it!! I hope everybody had a good week, I think it can go without saying that mine was awesome (finally got to see an octopus, no seahorses though!)

PS. We could always go for a sunset sail and snorkle on my sailboat!!! FUN!

Dan, the divemasters (on our cert. dives) told us that once you start drysuit diving, you never go back to wetsuits - in colder waters anyway. Who knows, maybe I will take you up on that offer!

Sorry I wan't here today with you all. The one thing that I think I have learnt is, I think if I ever attempt to dive, which will be virtually impossible in my case, will be that I shall go for a dry suit. LOL Annie B.

Oh blimey. Don't understand this diving stuff. So if you have a dry suit, does that mean you can't stay under for very long. I was just thinking of keeping warm, and not having water enter into the suit. Dummie Annie B.

I dive "dry" all the time. Lake Michigan.
They make "pee" valves for dry suits. I choose to just hold it.Heard of too many "malfunctions" with those things.
Anyhow the plane leaves here in 8 hours. On my way to Krispee Kreme now if you know what I mean

The big dog, Grendel, is a mastiff - half Fila Brasiliera, half Neopolitan. The little dog, Blikje or Blikie, is a Bonaire mutt.
