Okay, I found this board right after my first Bonaire trip last April. Somehow you find what you are interested in! I guess I had the very bad PBD and Google helped me out. Now, since of course I have my next trip already planned and reserved, where are the cams, land and underwater? Seems such a trivial thing, I should know this already. Want to make sure to make a visit, we are coming with a group of newcomers to the island.

Yes, Joost, I'm tired of shoveling. Most winters we have very little, because even when the mainland gets snow, the ocean around us moderates it here. Plus the wind blows half of it away into the water. This winter, though, it just keeps on coming. Makes me really long for this:

Quite a conversation. Certainly not chatting about the weather--it's always warm and sunny. Very nice boring weather as opposed to snowy boring weather.

Surf's up, dudes! Wish we could get some diver action. Maybe we could get Bonaire to fine any diver that dives Small Wall without spending at least five minutes on reefcam.

There seems to be bubbles around the boat. Maybe beginning to move our way? Come on, head fifty yards south, guys.

Have to go out for a bit. Someopne else will have to watch for those pesky divers.

Good morning, everyone. You were right, Barbara, that sun in Juneau is not nearly as warm as the one in Bonaire. Don't know about yesterday, but this morning, its 18F/-8C, with a much lower wind chill. Winds are 30mph/48kph with 50mph/80kph gusts. Anybody care to go diving with me today? The water, at least, is warmer and very clear this time of year.

However,...... I'm pining for Bonaire waters!

Hi, Dan...yes it's sunny here too and only about 60 degrees, still warm enough for the kids to wear shorts! I think I'll pass on the Juneau diving and the shorts for now! Quiet on the cams now...got to run and do some work!

Thank you for the hints on how to find out how to get to the cams! Now I just have to wait six months to get back to Bonaire, but visiting this site really helps. At least it will be a two week trip!! Can't wait, and will definitely take a trek to the cams for fun.

Hello everyone. It's been such a long time since I've been to Bonaire (about 2.5 years) and finally plans are being made for a return this July. I remembered this site and it's a lot fun coming here and reading posts. If only for an instant, I can almost make myself believe I'm there! 4 months and counting!

Just back from work, had direct the dinner, now just saying an hello, and go to bed. Would you believe me if I say I am a bit tired ?
Oh, great new to tell you. I made a deal with Jean Paul. As I can't get vacation in april, I let him go alone to Australia for Easter holidays to visit his son studying there ( gee, also means I'll have the whole bed just for myself and no snoring for about 15 days ). In return, he promiced WE ARE GOING TO BONAIRE IN JUNE !
