Morning all,
Gee, lots of things happened yesterday evening after I went to bed. Lots of fun, hmm mdr
Ok, Dr pepper won, and as many of you suggested we can call him Doc Pepper, or symply Doc.
I love PUFF, quite appropriate for a Puffer, so this will be my vote.
I have another suggestion, tell me what do you think about it.
Do you think it could be a nice idea to have someplace in the Bonaire Talk menu a single thread ( I meean just a webpage picture gallery ) dedicated to the reefcam dwellers with the name we all gave them ( permanently renewed each time a new dweller appears and has been named ). This could be helpul for the newbies.
We could post real reefcam pics ( just one each ), or close up more accurate pics. If everybody think it's a good idea, I have time enough to make a draft and summit to Jake, if he agrees of course, being our moderator.

Well, I see that I must be up late again tonight since Martine has already signed on. So, since I know the webcams are in good hands, I will sign off, and head for bed, myself.

Good morning, Martine.

Good morning martine.
I felt the same way : boy have they all been busy yesterday.
Too bad I didn't check the board yesterday evening , I would have had a nice name for Dr.Pepper .
My suggestion would have been Dr. Doolittle, so he could be a translator from the fish to us humans.
Any way, I do like your idea of the ID thread.
That wou;d surely make it easier for newbies to get used to the boards who's who.
We could make it a democratic decision right now : two votes in favor and no vote against? Done deal.
( just kidding)
gotta go now.

Dan , you are a late night dweller!!
Internet is a graet thing , just looked junea AK up.Wow that IS far away, relatively speaking ofcourse.

Good Morning and Good Night Dan! I missed all the excitement yesterday! We had our neighbour's 3yr old visit us and it looks like a tornado went through, so I will be cleaning up a bit this morning before work. Martine, thank-you for the sunrises from yesterday! My vote is for puff. The reefcam dwellers thread sounds like a great idea!

Morning Jos, Nite nite Dan,
I can't help thinking about this Who's who reefcam dwellers thread. In case Jake agrees and to avoid any further copyrights problems, the best would be to only use the reefcam pics.
Then we could open a special thread to gather the nicest pics picked up from your archives (everybody helps), and then make a webpage under Jake's control.
I think this matter is too important and we have to wait our moderator's opinion before acting.
Blame me, I forgot to wish you all a nice day in my previous post blush

Do you have time enough this morning to assist to the sunrising ?
This is my last vacation day and I should be rather busy today, as I left a lot of things to do for the last day :o(

I have time to pop in and out, but the sunrising I can not. My husbands computer is saving everything as .bmp, no .jpg and .jpeg, and we are having problems converting. The computer tech at his work is going to look at it. There are so many viruses our there and I hope we did not pick up another one (we just recently debugged and removed many files of this thing)!

Jos, I had such a dive in Sharm el Sheikh when we had to dive the Thistlegorm (laying in Gubal staright). Wake up at 3.00 AM, pick up at 3.30 from the hotel, boarding at 4.00 and on the place at 8.00 to be the first ones on the mooring. Finally, we arrived second.

Jos, "Thistegorm" is a worlwide wreck and lays in the Gubal straight, it needs 4 hours trip from Sharm el Sheikh. But it's truly worthy to get up that early, cause this is an unforgattable dive, and the boat is so big, you could sleep on the decks during the trip. We only geared up on the place :o)

Martine (and anyone else), if you can cobble together a "ReefCam Cast" Web page using ReefCam image, nicknames, and real fish information about the fish/critter involved, I can format it and make it a permanent part of BonaireTalk - even with links on every BT WebCams page.

Angela, hi, good morning,
Lucky you, you are leaving tomorrow. Bonaire, carnival, hmmmmm !
What a pity you chest is congested. Sometines, the fact of travelling by air just stop a cold. A very good "granny" cure is a thyme inhalation.
Just boil water with a bunch of fresh thyme in a pan. When it is boiling, just remove from the fire. Seat down immediately at your kitchen table, keep your face over the steaming pan while covering both your face and pan with a towel and breathe open mouth. Remain around ten minutes. This is not very good for one's brushing, but very efficient for the chest.

Good morning, everyone. Little late getting going this morning, but I finally made it to the office.

Ugly, ugly day here in Juneau. Sleet driven by steady wind, cold, damp. Vis (topside) is about 1/2 mile/.8 km.

Have a good day. I'll pop in now and then. Looks like some fish in the area and maybe some divers will be showing up. Keep a close eye out for them, because I won't be able to.

Barbara and other B-talker,
This is the normal thread, I just created a new one where you can post all the reefcam dwellers archives pics and all information you think they may serve for our web page. This link called " draft for our reefcam dwellers" has to be completed day after day by all of you, but only regarding this matter. Go and search in your archives and post on this link all what you find interesting ( close up pics if possible ) for a final webpage. Could be nice if we could do it in one week. Thanks for your help.
