(For those wondering what this is all about, it has to do with giving a name to the resident Surgeon Fish at the ReefCam)

10.20 trends

Dr Kildaire : 3 votes
Dr No : 2 votes
Dr Zaius : 1 vote

Dr Kildaire seems to get the preference, but the surgeonfish name will democratically be chosen.

Hi, folks, I think you have to explain me who this Dr Pepper is... He seems largely leading the votes. Jake, as our moderator, don't forget you have to give the results tonight, Bonaire time.
Jean Paul and the cat vote for Dr Kildaire.
Jake, as you suggested Dr Kildaire, and case he turns the winner, won't you offer a shore dive to the reefcam to all who voted for your suggestion ?
I remind this is a truly democratic election.

Have you seen the paddlefish when snorkeling the deep side at Gilboa? I did! When I relayed this info at my local dive shop, Kurt (one of the guys at the shop) gave me a *very* dirty look and said, "I've been diving Gilboa for 15 years and haven't seen the paddlefish!" Heh heh heh.

Sally I have not personally seen the paddlefish, but I have friends who dive there all the time, they are certified deep deep divers (trimix and all that stuff) and they have both seen it and videotaped it. Very impressive. Maybe I'll see it someday.

Bluetang, that is a great resource for Ohio diving. I prefer Portage myself, partly because our favorite restaurant is near there.. but it still gets cold after a few dives.

Funny thread Blue Tang, I had forgotten alot of that stuff, surprise, surprise.

I'm not sure where to put this picture, I guess here. It looks like our Porcupine Fish again, he needs a name too.

Porcupine?

I like Dr. Who, but since he is not in the running, I will go with Dr. Pepper.

Let's see, for the porcupine puffer, we have Spike and Puff so far. How about Babe or Porky?
