Hi Jos, good morning and enjoy your lunch. I'll be leaving soon to meet Jean Paul at the bank and have my lucnh with him. Afterwards, I'll be shopping in the mall.
No I didn't get any problem to open the thread this morning. But I fear you are doing wrong to post the pics. You have to do like this
\ oriented that way, then write image, then open the bracket { insert your saved pic and close the bracket } No blank space between \ and image and {pic}. Try again, we want to see these pics :o)

Thank's for the lecture martine;-))))
Life is a struggle, when I download the campictures , they are in Bitmap, I have to convert them to JPEG before I can Upload them , no wonder I'm messing things up.
Oh , and the picture I did send was intended to be black, like the name of the picture says.
It's no fun starting to work when there's nothing to be seen on Bon.
Enjoy your lunch/shopping .

Hi Cynde. Three days of 45-50 degree weather, plus some shovelling has taken most of the porch's snow. A bit left where the deep drift was. Still about 8 inches left on the lawn.

[I meant to post part of this here instead of in the current Community Chat thread, so here's a semi-dupe of the other message.]

I was cleaning the ReefCam this morning and checking our new mooring lines, which the folks at Buddy Dive were nice enough to supply AND install last night. Kudos to Buddy Dive!

The other folks heading in were fellow New Hampshire-ites down for a visit. One of them is the husband of a friend we hadn't seen in maybe 8 years or so - he just joined our old dive club in New Hampshire, and our name came up as the hosts for the club Web site. When he mentioned "Jake on Bonaire" to his wife (he had no idea who we were) in passing, she made the connection and located us. Had a nice lunch with them on Sunday.

Jake

PS Jill - those oriental stir-fry sauces you brought us recently are fantastic. Just had the spicy sesame sauce with onions and tuna last week. Yum!

Hello all,
Thanks for the nice pics and thanks Jake for the cleaned cam. I am just coming back and found this nice surgeon fish pic. Do we already have a surgeonfifh named ? If not I suggest PITANGUI ( a very famous brazilian aesthetic surgeon ), or Dr NO, or Dr BARNARD. These are the only surgeons names I can recall. Perhaps you could find some other names and we could vote ?
I had a nice lunch with Jean Paul and while he returned to work I was spending momey shopping (I love spending momey shopping). It was so nice to walk in the sun. Nearly 6 PM, must think about my dinner and I don't feel very inspired tonight.

I am at the dive shop right now, getting ready to get my gear into a bag to bring home so I can pack tonight. It's below zero out again, so I can't wait to get there! We drive to CHicago on Friday and fly out at 6:00 am on Saturday (who loves getting to the airport at 3:30 am? For Bonaire, anything!)

Hi, everybody, the 10:12:06 capture at the street was me talking to Jake. I was supposed to meet Bas (who lives down the street from Jake and Linda) for a dive, and to help prepare fish soup for the big BT BBQ on Saturday. Well, Bas wasn't there, so I just stopped to see Jake and Linda instead. When I arranged it with him, I neglected to tell him how to reach me if there was a problem.

Hope I'll see him tonight at Gibi's for the Tuesday regular BT get together, as I definitely want to make sure he makes the coconut fish soup --- it's delish...

Josie
