Yes it has been a long time! I am just getting ready for work, try to find time in the mornings to get online but doesn't always happen. Ontario is cold, we are expecting a storm tonight or tomorrow, but the weather always changes and the people are usually wrong! Looking forward to spring!

Hi guys and gals, Annie's home, and everything went well. It is a beautiful day here today, we reached 59 degrees. Bright sunshine and blue sky.

By John Lidington (Experienced BonaireTalker - Post #891) on Friday, February 21, 2003 - 10:58 am: |
We're at 3C--warm compared to the past few weeks, but not up to your level. It's supposed to hit 10-12C today. Haven't been following the cams too closely, because I've been looking at the news on a terrible fire down in Warwick, RI--about an hours drive from here. Nightclub burned last night, with 54 confirmed dead and at least 168 injured--many of whom are not expected to survive their burns.

By John Lidington (Experienced BonaireTalker - Post #900) on Friday, February 21, 2003 - 12:29 pm: |
Hi Mary Lou. Yeah, the first thing we did was to call our son to check on him. He goes to school in Cambridge (MA not England), but it's not unusual for them to go down to Providence to hear a band they like. Not that college students would ever be out clubbing on a school night.
|
By Mary Lou French (BonaireTalker - Post #89) on Friday, February 21, 2003 - 1:05 pm: |
Hi John, glad to hear your son is ok. Our daughter was at Clark last year and I think she was one of the only ones who didn't make the trip down to RI. Oh, and you are right, college students never go out on a school night :-)!! Nose to the grindstone and all.

By bluetang (Experienced BonaireTalker - Post #261) on Friday, February 21, 2003 - 1:07 pm: |
lol john, yes, i am sure that college students wouldn't be out clubbing on a school night...i just hear that someone had a video camera and was taping the band, the band had a pyrotech demonstration, and that appears to be what started the fire...very sad, this and the one in Chicago this last week...
