Good morning everybody,
Well, I think I am opening the thread. Sorry, it is too early to post a picture, they all are still sleeping overseas. Maybe it is time Dan is going to bed in Juneau... Hold on, it's friday, soon a nice week end to enjoy. Well, time here for a coffee break. Have a bright day. Catch you later.

Yes it has been a long time! I am just getting ready for work, try to find time in the mornings to get online but doesn't always happen. Ontario is cold, we are expecting a storm tonight or tomorrow, but the weather always changes and the people are usually wrong! Looking forward to spring!

Went over to Jean Paul's site to take a look. Nice shots. Will provide me with lots of opportunity to explore. A comment on a couple of 2002 Bonaire shots -- http://nos.plongees.free.fr/bonaire_2002/DSC01436.JPG and
http://nos.plongees.free.fr/bonaire_2002/DSC01587.JPG. I believe these are both pictures of honeycomb cowfish, rather than trunkfish. Cowfish have that characteristic spine above the eye.

We're at 3C--warm compared to the past few weeks, but not up to your level. It's supposed to hit 10-12C today. Haven't been following the cams too closely, because I've been looking at the news on a terrible fire down in Warwick, RI--about an hours drive from here. Nightclub burned last night, with 54 confirmed dead and at least 168 injured--many of whom are not expected to survive their burns.

Glad to hear the good news Annie.

Hi Joe. I lived in E. Weymouth as a kid, before moving around--NY, Indiana, Florida, then back here.
Once it warms up, there's nothing better than coffee out on the seawall over looking the beach. Actually, there's one thing better. Lunch at Le Calypso, the French restaurant at the south end of the beach, when it's warm enough to eat out on the deck (and you have lots of time to sit and enjoy--the proprietress treats each meal as an experience, and will not allow it to be rushed).

Thanks for all the great pictures. We are sunny and relatively warm today, 40's, nice.
I have been reading about the fire in RI, too. Our daughter was worried in might have been the place that some of her college friends go to, but luckily it wasn't. What a tragedy, up to 60 people now, and they are still looking through the rubble :-(.

Annie, very glad to hear that it went well this morning. I hope you can get some relaxation in this weekend.

Hi Mary Lou. Yeah, the first thing we did was to call our son to check on him. He goes to school in Cambridge (MA not England), but it's not unusual for them to go down to Providence to hear a band they like. Not that college students would ever be out clubbing on a school night.

Hi John, glad to hear your son is ok. Our daughter was at Clark last year and I think she was one of the only ones who didn't make the trip down to RI. Oh, and you are right, college students never go out on a school night :-)!! Nose to the grindstone and all.

lol john, yes, i am sure that college students wouldn't be out clubbing on a school night...i just hear that someone had a video camera and was taping the band, the band had a pyrotech demonstration, and that appears to be what started the fire...very sad, this and the one in Chicago this last week...

Horrible what happend in that nightclub, similar thing happened in Holland 2 years ago on newyears eve.Too many people , to little emergency exits and a pyrotecnic disaster . They just don't mix well.

Geez, it's horrible what happened in that night club. They probably will relate on 8 PM evening news. We also had such a tragedy a couple of years ago in south of France.
