Hi Stef, glad your equipment worked out well and that Scott discovered his problem here not there!! A lobster for a ham huh? You might have a deal!! I have a Seaquest BC too and I love it.

Hi Angela, Lac Bay sounds like fun. We have gone over there before but never on a Sunday. We will have to check it out! Are you planning on going to the BT dinner on March 4? We will be at that.

Hi Annie, I love all your pictures, I am glad to hear that Emma is doing ok!!

I got some packing advice from a lady the other day who flew around Christmas time. Since they are searching some checked bags now she put all her things in ziploc bags so that if hers were opened things would stay together. I thought it was a pretty good idea. Hefty makes a 2 1/2 gallon size so even the bigger stuff fits. I love to pack. :-)

Hello Kelly. It was a good day again. Blood tests were fine. Tomorrow is the end of our fourth week. The end is in sight. Thanks for asking. Annie B.

I knew I loved the colours of the sunsets on Bon.

Hi Annie, I will let you know. One other thing she said was to use the plastic zip ties instead of locks on the suitcases. Supposedly if they cut a zip tie off they will put a new one on before the suitcase goes into the handlers. I'll let you know on that one too!
I am heading home, have a good night everyone!! ML

I had one of my checked bags hand searched in Boston and they did cut the zip tie and replace it when they were done.

Checking in in Bonaire don't bother until after the hand checking is done since they hand check all your checkin luggage.

I don't know if that zip tie thing will work. We made it back to the states with them and when they search our bags they cut them off..

They could not find anything to cut them with held up a lot of people. They even asked us, like we would have something to cut with. LOL.

Well, of course, the knife you brought along with which to cut the tie is inside the luggage that is closed by the tie!

Ida. Your story made me laugh. Last year my bag was searched and they found a screwdriver which my son had put in without my knowledge. Can you imagine how I felt. (Imagine a gif of me falling through the floor). I had to fill out forms and sign papers just so they could get rid of it. Jeeze. Can't tell you what I told my son. LOL

Currently, Annette, it is 2:00 p.m. in Juneau. A lot more than 5 hours.

Yep. I have friends in Germany. I'm always running up against the time zone problems when trying to call them.

I wonder when/if those divers will appear?

Dan.I feel much better now. I thought it was due to old age, and having a brain like a perforated T bag. LOL. I won't see the night divers, but if you do then I put you in charge of posting the pics. Is that a cop out or what. Annie B.

That is definitely a cop-out, especially since I can only check every five minutes or so. I am, of course, still at work, and need to do something once in a while towards that end.

However, I fully understand why you would not be checking in for several hours. Its nigh on to (or past) bedtime for you.

so, it is now 2:42 a.m. in Bonaire; 9:42 in Juneau. I think it is time for me also to put this thread to bed and me to bed as well.

Maybe tomorrow I'll catch a live diver down. Ahhh, hope springs eternal!

I see the boat is still there, so someone may catch a diver.

Dan, you have been patiently awaiting the capture of a "live" diver....I hope one comes along for you just at the right time. I can only imagine it is very tough with the time differences between Bonaire and Alaska. Talk about 2 entirely different zones! LOL. Hang in there, Dan! Carole
