OK,OK, I admit I really don't have a reason to start the Friday thread... after all, it's barely Friday on Bonaire and Thursday hasn't even ended for me yet. This is the only chance I have to beat our European friends to posting the daily thread. :-)My guess is that I'll hear from Igor, Marianne (Joost), Martine, and possibly Martin before long. Now get back to work!

Have a great day everyone, I'm not going to be around the computer at all today so post lots of great pics for me.

Oh, and since I feel almost obligated to post a pic on this thread... here's one that you'll recognize from the southern tip of the island.

Michael

Sounds like we'll be able 2 do some wandering in the streets of Paris! Because we're living in the rainy Netherlands an umbrella is always part of our luggage :-) (well maybe not if we're going 2 Bonaire)

Hi Jos,
We all got the same problem at the beginning, and I was a real mess !
Igor, regarding the throat, it doesn't pain anymore but I still am with a head cold, and it is not recommended for diving. We'll be on the place on monday, that gives me time to recover. I also think that staying in sunny and warm country is the best therapy.

Hi Stef, very nice shot.
The "little something" is named Bluebeard. Some reefcam dwellers got a name : Charlotte (the damsellfish), Satchmo (the truppetfish), Picasso (the spanish hogfish), Shiva (the octopus)...and other I do not recall at the present time.

Good Morning, Stef. We got about 8 in. of snow down here in Spotsylvania County. I just called my dive buddy, a teacher, and woke her up. Geez, some of us have to work regardless! I hope to go flying this afternoon if the weather clears and take some pics.

btw, nice pic of Bluebeard.

Good luck flying.. it should be beautiful from the air! I'm sure flying is part of being a systems consultant, huh :-)

What a good little octopus :-)

If someone would develop an airline that could get us to Bonaire in record time, we'd all participate! I actually discounted Bonaire at first, since most of the trqavel/flight times exceeded 11 hours!!!! Not until we found Air Jamaica, and saw that they only took a little over 5 did we make our plan.. I think I'm going to be glad we did!

Superturtle.. I think you're whole gang is going to be there when we are.. we're arriving on the 12th and staying at Buddy's.
