HEllO,

I am a newby here! My name is Marisa Thompson and I was turned to this site from www.scubaboard.com! I love coming here everyday and seeing the sunrise and set! I will there in late june, still a long ways away but this helps so much. I love seeing this place! I have been certified for a year now my boyfirend 4 years, and since we met about a year ago, this is one of our passions. I can see myself really being an islander someday and just diving all the time. I am a creative person, with a degree in Achitectural Design, since Sept 11th my job really wasn't a need. So I had to get into the corporate world and be business like! URGH One of these days I will hopefully move to an island to live and dive as well as run some sort of business! Maybe photography! Until then this is a haven of happiness and keep the post coming!

Not 29, 4-0, it's ok I am not going to have a heart attack, in my mind I am still 12, never got past that age for some reason :-)!! Your bagels sound yummy. Grocery store after work? You deserve a gold medal, that's my worst nightmare!!! I think I was asleep on the couch around 8 so I wasn't on the computer much last night. That's what happens when I stay up late the night before I teach an early morning class! 6:30am class Thursday morning?! I need my sleep.

NO WAY!!!!!! Scott and I are BOTH celebrating the big Four-OH too :-)

I told him that I was planning on having a mid-life crisis, and he pointed out that that was ok, but I needed to remember that HIS mid-life crisis was going to be alot more expensive than mine (sports car I assume), so I relented...

so we're going diving instead... we figured a dive trip was better than a mid-life crisis anyway! :-)

Hi! I've been reading this message board for the past month, trying to decide whether to go on a diving cruise (Roatan, Grand Cayman, Cozumel and Belize) or to come to Bonaire. All of you enthusiastic divers convinced me (without even knowing it) that Bonaire is the place for me right now! So, I've done it! I'm all booked for March 21-28. Thanks guys!

Congratulations on your choice Karen. I've been to Roatan once (stayed at CoCoView) and Grand Cayman a couple times. Roatan is actually what got us thinking about Bonaire.. we enjoyed the shore diving there so much! I loved both places, and am very much looking forward to Bonaire... we'll be there the 12th through the 19th, so will just miss you!

Hey Kevin - Scott has two Mustang convertibles already.. one a 93 and the other a 98.. I think that's enough, don't you ;)

Hi Stef,
We definitely need to have a HUGE birthday party!!! And about that midlife crisis....... I thought about it too, but my husband turned 40 a few years ago and he didn't have one so I am not allowed to. RATS!!! Cause mine was going to be good.... not sure what I was going to do but it would have been good :-). My big request for this birthday was not to be in the cold weather, preferably underwater in my favorite place, I won!!

And Kevin- you are just plain lucky.... care to pass along any tips???

On the cars, or my loving wife, cause if she didn't love me I wouldn't have the cars.

Going to Bonaire is an imperative! After my first trip, life wouldn't be the same if I couldn't go back, and back, and back.......... If I had to ultimately choose between the cars and never going to Bonaire again, oh well, they are only cars.

Good afternoon everyone.... just stopped by the ckeck on the cams. I'm not sure but I think that's 'Pierre' our resident French Angle in the lower left. It looks a little more like him on the enlarged pic.

P.S. Great octopus pic from earlier - made me realize we never came up with a name for him. Any ideas?
