Gerda,
it was snowing over here 2, but at this moment there are only dull, grey clouds. Most of the snow is gone already (which should make driving home easier than coming here this morning).

Hmm .. has Jake been adding an extra floor on the roof ??? There's too much shadow on the beach !!! :o)

Have to see if it's normal for the sun to be that low at 9.30hr ..

Hmm .. it seem like the rays (sun) slowly are winning back on the shadows ..

Re the shadow of the roof on the beach...Margarite is right, there is a pergola at the bottom of the Richter's stairs. The North cam and South cam are mounted on the respective front corners of the pergola.

That was Josie and Alan visiting us around noon time. They got to Bonaire in one piece last night, but their flight from San Juan was about an hour and a half longer than usual - pilot told them that they aren't relying on the Caracas nav beacon any more (apparently due to the unrest there), and are now flying along the windward islands to get to Bonaire as they can then use their beacons for navigation. That's second hand, of course, and I'm not sure if every AE flight to Bonaire is doing that or not. Linda's last week did not...

BTW, when I turned on my Cam monitor here in the office this morning at around 10am, I did see a porcupine fish swimming off screen... Great pics yesterday though!

Jake

I'd like an intro to Jake and Linda (is that right?) as well! People who like Krispy Kremes and clementines can't be all bad :-)

We're actually getting a BRAND NEW Krispy Kreme right next door to our old one, which has been there since I can remember (which is an awfully long time). Can't wait till it opens up, but I'll miss the original.. something about it staying the same all these years was really nice.

Hi Stef,
My husband and I are arriving on the 3 (late) and staying through the 17. We are renting a house, Kas Di Ambiente, in Belnem. We are planning on diving with Phototours. Our two adult kids are arriving on the 10, to celebrate my birthday (on the 12)and do some diving. How long are you going to be here?

Perhaps we should have a grand birthday celebration one evening?

Jake - we will definately look you up, and you'll need to let us know whether your supplies have dwindled!

Too fuuny Stef, I was just about to ask the same thing!! We have an awesome bagel shop here, NY style, the owners are from there. BIG AND CHEWY, delicious!!
