Good Morning All!
Another "snow day" for us! With the wind chill, we are below 0F here in SE Virginia.....I know that sounds like a heat wave to you folks "up north", but we aren't used to it! I wanted to post a Bonaire Beach pic, but everything is slow this morning. Anyone else having trouble viewing the beach cams?

Buenos dias Carol ...

+10C and clear blue skies outhere ...
Webcams seem to be fine here, maybe it's the cold up there in the US .. put up a fresh pinguin on the fire, make yourself a nice cup of tea/coffee, and stay warm. It WILL get Summer soon ..

Siltation's a nice word Jake .. hope someone finds some time to clean her up a bit. Any luck with the weather-station so far ??
I'm just curious, not pushing :o) ...

No school here on the Outer Cape (Cod)..it is frigid and snowy. Maggie's district had school (my district is on the Outer Cape while her's is mid Cape) so will get LOTS done. I finished my tax preparation so can mail that, now laundry and dusting. The house is so dry and the dust is flying..

Missing Bonaire..let's see, April 19th ..how far away is that??

:)

Stef,

Scroll down to the bottom of this page and click on the "Formatting" link. About 3/4 of the way down that page is instructions on how to post a pic.

Good Luck!

Michael

Annie, we turned on the humidifier because it is so dry. I just made a batch of dog biscuits....need to get started on report cards :(
Olaf, I think everyone is staying home and surfing the net so things are slow.

Olaf,

Fixed weather station parts are here - I just need to put everything together, test it, and then climb on my roof and reinstall it all. That's a Saturday or Sunday task...

Kelly Kelly Kelly my dear ...
I'm so sorry ... I've been way too busy last few weeks, which now finally kinda comes to an end.
I will send you the trip-report shortly ("to hold back enlarges the pleasure .."). I did send you a load of pics, didn't I ?

And Jake, as for the weather-station .. very nice work. Don't get too much of a hero on the roof. I'm actually quite curious how you guys run your systems. I'll have another look at the FAQ and the other docs you've put up ..

And now ... WEEKEND !!!!
Of to home now ..
Everybody .. have a ball ..

Grtz
Olaf

Yes Olaf you sent pictures, am still interested in the trip report though. I wish I was one of those on the reef cam right now! It's zero degrees here. :(

Afternoon all,

I seem to be missing the action today. Looks like I have to pay more attention to the reefcam and less attention to work. Not to make anyone fell bad, but it's a chilly 55 here. We got a blast of your serious cold last night. I've got to move farther south. Any suggestions (heh heh)

Kevin

Just to keep in step here's a nice tranquil picture. Calm seas, puffy clouds, blue sky, I bet it's even warm.

Olaf,

'...put a pinquin on the fire..'???? Are 'pinquins' like 'penquins'??? Taste a bit fishy??? Does one use barbecue sauce??? You will have the cruelty to animals people after Jake for allowing such postings!!! :–)

Know what you mean about work, Kevin - terrible when you miss all the good stuff. Thanks to all of the others who have the time and ability to watch, and post for us poor desk bound types!!

Going to try posting a pic when I get home....(should be really interesting - NOT)

Good afternoon everyone! I have another snow day in northeastern Ohio. I guess I will have to go back to my school bus on Monday. This site is great for all of us snow bound folks wishing for warm water and sun.

good idea anita...just had a thought...at least installing the new weather equipment will be a bit easier than installing the new mooring line:) let's see, if he places the ladder at a 30 degree angle to the roofline, climbs the ladder with weather station gear (whatever that entails or is), tools, drills, hat, gloves, electrical clippers and a snack for later...once he is on the roof it should be a breeze if the winds shift a bit:) boy, can you tell i am home sick and bored today?

What if there is snow and ice on the roof? I saw Santa Claus II, I know what can happen!

Went into school for awhile since it "warmed up" to 32F! Just got back and I see that Jake must have cleaned the fish kisses off the Reefcam. Cynde, hope you feel better!
