Looks like Bas is arriving for the party. Where is his famous barracuda dish?

I think it's a sailboat with lights on the sail. We saw it the last time we were in Bonaire.

It's a strange looking sailboat with neon lights draped throughh the sail. The boat itself is really oddly shaped. We saw it in July, but not December. Apparently it's back.

Personally, I think it's pretty hideous.

Stop holding back, Sue, and tell us what you REALLY think.

:)

Well, have you seen it in person? It looks like no other sail boat on the earth. I think someone took Architecture 101 and Boat Making 101 and failed both, but then decided to put this thing together.

Didn't mean to rile you up, it is a pretty odd boat and the rope lights are in fact a very strange idea.

When we were on Bonaire last nov, this sailboat was moored in Bonaire Nautico Marina.
On several days we saw the boat leaving during the day and we saw them snorkeling at a few of our dives.

We aren't talking about the Aquaspace, but this other one, which has a very high center of gravity and even in calm Bonaire waters occasionally looks like it's about to capsize.

Geoffrey (who's sailed a lot when he was younger, on racing sailboats in Marthas Vineyard) says that it seems to yaw and roll a lot when it's moving.
