Good morning all and welcome Martin. Another Martin ! I think BT is a Martin(e) club...
Salt Pier is our predilected diving spot (with Hilma Hooker and Ol Blue) and last june we counted 22 tarpons at the same time. Also seen one or two very big cudas.
Today is my last day of work. We are leaving tomorrow evenning to South Africa.
No pics to post at the present time, it is still dark on Bonaire.
I have to go now, I catch you later in the afternoon when I am back and an "idly" woman.
Have a nice day all.

Carole - the answer is "feral donkeys". All the dogs in the neighborhood bark at them as they wander through, grazing on landscaping and wild vegetation and the cacophony of woofs keeps us ordinary workin' folk awake at night as a result. Don't get me started on this again :-)

Jake

Donkeys? Are there wild donkeys on Bonaire? Since when? [veg]

No Marc, not wild donkeys.... feral donkeys. A much more cruel and viscious breed that will tear you limb from limb. Good thing Grendel is at the post or Jake and Linda would have no more shrubbery! :)

Sue - I have a couple dinner pics from back in late August at It Rains Fishes. The outing included about 14 people. I'll be sure to post it when I get around to posting a trip report (way too busy since we got back).

Michael

Sue,

Karl from Canada took pics at Monday's BT dinner, and promised to post them. Snorkelguy Scott also took some, so when they all get back home you should see some!

Jake

PS And I thought it was a vicious vorpal rabbit?

Aha! I forgot about Don Q and his merry friends of fur roaming the streets of Bonaire!! Let's hope Grendel guards the guest register book from now on....Don Q had definitely acquired a taste for the last one. I can see Don Q and Grendel nose to nose out there at the front gate right now.....wow, what a capture that would be!

What was the title of the "B" class Science Fiction flick featuring the giant rabbits??? I can picture them all now, but can't recall the title of the flick...it's on the tip of my tongue but won't roll off...can anyone out there help me out?? Thanks. Carole
