Hello every body, good morning.
Still sleeping on the West side of the Ocean. To answer Ms Mermaid's last yesterday post, we have to wait till after tomorrow to see the Moon appear on the north beach cam. I noticed it always appears when it is full moon and it will occur on tuesday. So just be patient and I promise I'll post the moonset pics. Must be someone from UK or Holland around the corner ? I wish you all a nice day.

Alas, Martine,

I do not get to dive today.
Although I am on the same side of the Atlantic as Bonaire, I am several thousand miles away.
Friday, however, We get on Air Jamaica and go to sit in the water for a week.
Kate and I will be on the Web Cams with the license plate from my car, which reads JOHAN (my nickname, long story).
Keep an eye out for us next week.

John

This is what is waiting for you in a couple of days. I'll just say : enjoy, enjoy, enjoy as much as you can.
In a little bit less than two weeks we'll be in the Indian Ocean and warm our bones under the southern hemisphere sun...Pretty nice too.
Have a nice day.

Martin, did you see steam floating by your window just now? That was me getting out of the shower :). I love not having to do anything on a Monday.

I was looking at the webcams and had a couple of realisations... Imagine they had had these webcams in the time of Columbus... They would have known that:
a) The earth is round (just look at the horizon *g*)
b) Spain is *not* Earth's vacations paradise
c) Going west is a very smart idea
:)

Marc, Have you looked outside all-ready? I find it hard to see the former Shell building, you need to take less hot showers.. :)

You have strange thoughts... Are you sure you all ready opened your eyes?? :)

Top of pagePrevious messageNext messageBottom of page Link to this message  By Marc @ CrystalVisions on Monday, November 18, 2002 - 9:01 am:     Edit PostPrint Post

What, are you saying that going west is not a smart idea?
Sorry about the spoiled view :). But you should know what it looks like by now... Time for something new, I think ;-)

Going west is OK, but thinking of Columbus and webcams, you must have been dreaming... :)

I'll be off to investigate the rest of the city, I'll have to go out and buy lunch...

Now, imagine if Columbus had a GPS ?
Have to go shopping too now, I'd like to read your answer when I am back.

Good Morning all. We have had snow all weekend some areas have about 4 inches now.......the trees are covered. It is nice looking but I pulled up Bonaire to see the sun.

Good morning Sue,
Sounds like Xmas is coming soon. I wish we could have some snow here too, for it is the symbol of winter to me, but it hasn't snowed in Paris for years... Just rainy cold days. I understand how we could miss the sun when it is grey and chilly where we live, that's why I so much apreciate Bonaire cams. Have a nice day.

Hi everybody...

I was LMO when I read Martine's "Imagine if Columbus had a GPS"...

I guess he would *not* have discovered America and would have reached India... :)

And *we* would not be enjoying our holidays on Bonaire... :(

*And* I would not be having wiggly legs because of the decision we have to make about actually moving to Bonaire within a few months, after receiving a serious job offer just a sec ago.... AAAAARGHHHH!!! :)

Hello everyone. I've been watching your cams for a while now, and just wanted to say I wish I were there. But I'm not. I'm in the North Eastern U.S and I got to wake up to 10+ inches of snow this morning. Thanks for the beautiful, sunny, warm pictures.

Thanks for the welcome Margarite. I wish I was going soon. My local dive shop had a trip, but I missed out this year. Lucky you 15 days :) I'm going to get some more experience in the water this spring/summer/fall, and hopefully get there next Feb.

Don't wait just go,Joe. Find a roomate to share expenses. It's very affordable. Everyone needs a vaction. Charge it!! There's no better place to gain experience in the water. It's beautiful and full of life. It's almost always calm, very easy diving. margarite

Hi Joe, Welcome,
I just agree with Margarite, Bonaire is quite affordable and very easy to dive. But just be aware once you get there, you definitaly get hooked and strongly suffer the terrible and painful "Post Bonairian depression".
I love these colours

Hi Joe,
JUST Do IT!!! I got my 20 year old neice and my 24 year old nephew hooked on Bonaire Vacations. They now work twice as hard to save their $$$'s. Both are still in college and they go to Bon with me during the month of June. They pay for airfare/hotel and I pay for dive gear rental and all their food. In return they clean all MY gear. I am a wicked Aunt!!!
