Dear All

Try this but ONLY if you have a strong constitution.

The owners of an old house, kept seeing strange things and hearing voices. These sightings were investigated, and the result was that they had a ghost.

The story was, that a previous couple once lived in the house, and that the husband died during the war and after that, the wife always sat at the window, waiting for him to return, until she died.

They have managed to capture the following picture and sound, however, it is very much like an optical illusion, so you will have to look at the picture for approx. 20 - 30 seconds before the ghost "appears".

Try to concentrate on the table and the window. You get a feint audio clue when it is going to happen so have your sound turned on highish.

Brian,

That was fun, I'm going to show it to my wife with the sound cranked up to 11.

As far as the diver pictured above is concerned, I know that no gloves are allowed except on Hilma Hooker, but it tough to get med at someone who is so well coordinated.

Happy Halloween All!!! :)

John

Great news to see that Olaf and company have arrived on Bonaire and are having fun! They truly earned this trip, didn't they!? I'm glad they hung in there because it is well worth it. Sounds like the Dutch Brigade will all be on Bonaire together shortly.,..should be lots of fun! Carole

Hi all .......... !!!!!!

We finally made it after the hell on Amsterdam Airport. We were able to get booked on the late flight, which didn't depart until 01.15 (instead of 23.30u). So we were at Eden Beach at 8am on monday or so, with no luggage at all. This was luckily found the next day, so not much worries for that. Got some weekly-lenses, thnx for your help Martin .. or Igor, can't remember (thought it was Martin).
Anyway .. sorry I kinda forgot about you all, but Bon is just to f***ing beautiful to not dive 24/7 ...
I indeed met Jake this morning when he took his little girl to school (I guess) ... seems to be a nice guy, pity my time is so short to meet anyone for real. The others guys seem a bit a boring, just dive dive dive ..
Damn, I forgot to ask Jake if we could dive the Small Wall site through his place ..
Well, maybe drop by friday or saturday ... 2 days diving left .. nothing's said too much about Bon .. She's a sheer beauty ...

So ... we need to see when/if we'll dive the reefcam, there's no boat trips at Eden. Maybe Klein-Bonaire on Sat, tomorrow night The Hilma at night. It's too much, and too beautiful ...

Well .. that'll be it for now .. I'll post my pics and reports next week. Annie, haven't got a webcam-attribute yet, but it'll be either Fri or Sat .. during daytime ..
Dunno whether I should drive up to Jake for permission .. we'll see ...

Anyway, thnx for caring for me guys :o)
So for it's brilliant .. except for the delay, but it's already forgotten ..

Martin, see you Sat at Karels ... (after eight or so ..) Have a better trip than we had ..

Cheerz all

Olaf, take a chance. Drive to Jakes and ask, you got nothing to lose. I am sure he will help if it is within his power. Good Luck. Lovely to hear from you. Annie B.

Igor , I wanted to thank you for posting the sunsets for me tonight. We had a very busy day and I missed the whole thing! I think you'll find, when you finally get to the island that the sunsets are really phenominal!! It's always a difficult decision.....do I dive at twilight? or do I toast the sunset? Perhaps a good compromise is a twilight snorkel..... In any case, I am leaving on a business trip and won't be back til late Sunday night...Iknow you and Cinthie are in for a memorable honeymoon!!! See you on the cams. margarite

Nice hearing from u Olaf :) Good thing u're enjoying the trip and are able 2 forget the travel-troubles. Looking forward 2 see u on the reefcam! :) Have a good time!

Mine are the two on the right. Bas, the pirate! And Yana the special agent (NOT secret agent)! Think spy kids and Kim Possible.

Mind you we don't just give random folks direct access to the beach. However people we know, who carry bribes (Krispy Kremes are a very good bribe!), are occasionally given permission (and a site briefing) if they are polite and nice :-)

Of course, Olaf can't bring Krispy Kremes, but I'm sure we can figure something out!

BTW, one way to be guaranteed shore access is to become a lifetime Bonaire WebCams member (we have several of those) ;-)

Jake
