Is that a bag?

The right side of the 'bag' seems to show a person's head and shoulders, looking to the left!

He may be...

That was a bag on the post. We're having some work done on the house (roof repairs, replacing a termite eaten door frame (and apparently they were just about ready to launch - we've had hundreds flying around our office this morning - oh joy!). The bag belonged to one of the workmen.

Hi every one, good afternoon/evening !
I don't think they are Rachid and Simone. It sounds a little bit too early for diving after the whole night spent travelling and they also need to settle in their hotel and rest a bit after so many troubles. I bet they appear tomorrow on both cams. Must think about my dinner now and, at the present time, I don't have the slicest idea of what to cook. Must find some imagination quickly...manger

Hey Cynde Lee, like your new profile picture, are you king of the world?

Must be very odd living under a microscope, not sure I would like it, but maybe you just forget about it at some point.

LOL - Cynde, I think maybe the round thing is a paper plate with a message written on it - too far away to be legible. But an "e" for effort!

I just got word that last nights flight from Amsterdam to Bonaire was aborted (had to turn around 3 hours into the flight for technical reasons) as well. The original Sunday KL789 flight that Rachid and Olaf were supposed to be on is actually coming here this evening, and we get two MD11s tomorrow in the wee hours - the normal one (which Martin & Angela should be on?) and the one from today. Luggage for those who were on KL789 should be arriving today, even if the passengers arrived earlier. Don't know where that leaves Olad and Rachid, but assuming they didn't cancel their trip, they should be arriving this evening at the latest...

Jake, we're leaving tomorrow, arriving fryday early, so I hope it's all solved by then...

It's quitte an adventure for Rachid, Olaf and the 3 friends that had to leave sunday....

(Dumb question: when are the wee hours???)

Geez, what a story ! Please, have a little thought for KLM staff. I am often confronted to this kind of situation which is very stressful for passengers as well for the staff. Olaf's and Rachid's odyssey looks like a nightmare, but I am sure, once in Bonaire, they will be quite fine and happy. Martin, you should travel without any trouble. Lucky you ! You too are back on my predilected island. Enjoy. Would you please drink an Amstel with Olaf and Rashid ( and Jake ?... at Karel's ? ) having a little thought for me ? Folks, my BPD is back triste

Martine, I allways try to be polite to the crew, I know they have nothing to do with delay and stuff.

And only one Amstel???

Karel's on Friday evening?

"wee" means "tiny" or "little". When combined with "hours" it means the early hours of the morning.

Hi again everyone. In reviewing information about the Small Wall dive site, it says it can either be accessed by boat or shore, but for shore diving you have to get permission to cross private property. Is this the norm for many of the shore dives?

Top of pagePrevious messageNext messageBottom of page Link to this message  By Jake Richter - NetTech on Wednesday, October 30, 2002 - 5:15 pm:     Edit PostPrint Post

No. Most (80-90%?) shore dives at marked (by buoy or yellow rock) are off non-developed shore/land. Small Wall is a rare exception.
