Good day everyone, Pete here again. Thank you for the interest to see some of the pictures that I have taken in Nova Scotia waters. Martin, you mentioned something about a chat room, where is that? I have not seen anything here about a chat room. If you could let me know the site name I will send the pictures there. As well I am going to try to send one here now to see if that will work.

I hope that everyone is having a wonderful day.

Pete

Pete, it's not really a chat room, more a chat section. 2 ways to get there...

1: Goto www.bonairechat.com.
2: Goto www.oldbonairetalk.com, check the newsgroups and select community chat.

CU there...

I'm more worried about the other part of our trip: Get Transportation, Photographer, Dining location and so on for next year....

Great capture, Cynde Lee! Get those surf boards out...the "old" ones that are "in" again...you remember those 10 foot fiberglass boards...Dewey Weber and the rest, right? I have a feeling our Landshark (Candygram) will survive the new neighbors to the south....they have no idea what they have in their midst!! We have him/her trained to protect and even attack when necessary....not yet, tho...not just yet!

Have a wonderful wedding and honeymoon on Bonaire and don't worry at all about the weather....just hang loose and enjoy Bonaire...there is always something to do, even if there are a few raindrops on land....have no fear! Safe trip. Carole

Welcome to Standard Time! Is the U.S. the only place (with the exception of Arizona and New Mexico) that has this silly practice..takes a week to catch up one hour one way and then the other twice a year (whine, whine, whine) Looks like it's clearing on Bonaire and hopefully we'll see Rachid and Simone soon...great previews, Rachid! This fish is waiting for you...

Igor, just on the 18.00 news: KLM did cancel 50 flights. A flight from KLM to Minneapolis, departure 14.00 got delayed to 24.00 (for now). They said a lot of flights wouldn't leave 'till then.

Now some other sad news: 2 Belgium divers died this afternoon when diving in the Oosterschelde (a part of our river delta in Zeeland). With this wind, the worse storm we had in 12 years, diving in the Oosterschelde is not a sign of common sence. From the news I understood the drifted from shore on the wind...

So sad about the Belgium divers. I hope that all of us exercise better judgement....It could happen to anyone of us who are enthusiastic about diving.I'd hate to lose any of my new friends.

This weather gives me the creeps. I feel really small... :(
Yepp the flight of Olaf and Rachid is cancelled. By the sounds of it they are lucky if they can get out at 23:30. There are a huge amount of planes witing 2 take off. :(

Hi folks, good evening all,
I am just returning from work and it has been terrible. We had to stop all loading and desembarking activities during a couple of hours at the airport because the winds were blowing over 50 knots (100km/h). I wish Olaf and Rachid could leave safely. Time for us to have the dinner. I catch you later if I am not tooooo much exhausted. It really was a hard day !
