Lovely post, Olaf. Since I have so little time to check in, these long threads are getting hard to get through. Big change from a couple of weeks ago when we barely hit 20 in a day. It still seems rainy on Bonaire, as it is in France and probably most of Northen europe.
Barbara, your 1051pm post drives me crazy, cause I WAS DIVING ON BONAIRE at this time, and I recall the dives among the jellyfishes. Sigh !
Congratutations for the yesterday sunset pics. Splendid ! .
Well, I have to go for work, so I'll catch you later in the afternoon. Unfortunately, there is no Internet at my office. The boss wants us to work .

well here is the cover of the dive guide, I both it on my first visit to Bonaire back in 1997
It’s written in 1996, before Lenny.
In 1997 it was a great help for me to pick dive sites and it was quite accurate on the sites I saw.
Next week I can see how it’s holding after Lenny.

It's a pity the webcam pics aren't (photographically) a bit better in quality (pixels-depth) .. then one could do a lot more with it. It's not me, but Photoshop 7 + a s***load of plugins that does the job.
No need to sign 'em .. Jake is free to use whatever he wants, he puts up enough energy to get/keep this thing rolling (if you ever feel the need to graphically enhance the site, let me know .. I'd be glad to help) ..

Rachid, I'd say we probably will meet, and if not, I'll find you in the plane .. and have a look at your book .. (at first I didn't understand your were on the same flight as me).

As said, first more coffee, and see what daybreak shows us at Bon ...

But I'm pretty creative in making those kinda things up ...
I'll be renting my gear on Bon, so I don't know what kinda gear I'll have, what color of mask etc.
All I know is that my head is shaven, probably worn out by the sun ... I'll think of a gimmick.
Don't know when we will be tere either, but I'd say somewhere around wed/thu ..
We're we three ... 2x 30yrs, 1x 50yrs ..

I think that skeleton is a ghost, Annie! How was swimming with the jellies, Martine? Will try to peek in a little more today...have cable at work but a slower modem at home so 50 posts sounds good to me, Cynde! :-)
