Wow, it is already past lunchtime and no one has come to say Hi! It is very wet and windy in the UK and my only consolation to a full working day followed by three hours of University is that in ten days I will be saying hello to Bonaire - yippee fish, I will bring my snorkel!!

Hi Angela,
It's been pretty slow on the Bonaire WebCams. It is very wet and rainy here in Florida also. Expecting a cold front. If you want to call it that. High tomorrow in the 80's.

Hi Ida - your message popped up at the same time as my new one, glad to know there is someone else out there. It is certainly not in the 80's here, more like the 50's and very grey, will be glad to get some serious sun!

Hello Angela and Ida, Just popped in for a look around before going to work on this horrible dull, wet and dreary day. Looks like everyone else is hibernating for the day. Annie b.

Hi All,

Sunny and cold here in Chicago. Snow is in the forecast for this week. BRRRRRRRRRRR! On a plus side the first frost will kill off the West Nile virus mosquitos and drop the pollen count for the allergy sufferers. So we got that goin' for us. lol

And as of today I'm a mere 22 days from arrival. Wooo-Hooo!

Yes, I think it's the rare small white. It's only seen once every 10 years, so we are very lucky!

martin, actually i think it is the "rare small wall white." oh, let me take you on your daily "virtual dive"...

Martin and Angela pack their gear, hop in the truck and head down to Angel City...as luck would have it, they are the only one's there...gear up, and walk in the warm bonaire water...
bonairewater.jpg

slip the fins on and slide on down in the water...oh, look, just heading out over the top of the reef and what does martin see?

he sees: that same school of blue tangs you saw yesterday, they must be following him...
tang.jpg

as they drop down to about 45 feet, there are large brain corals, a few pipe corals and you spy a trumpet fish stealthing a parrot chomping on coral...a nice french angel blows a kiss at you as it passes...
angel.jpg

up ahead a large baraccuda looks at you, you look back, and it swims for dear life in fear...oh, check your guage, you have been down for 60 minutes, time to surface and grab and amstel bright and watch the sunset...
cam.jpg

Cynde, you little tease... I'll get you, I swear!! But I do love the pictures... Only a few weeks and I'm off. No more meetings, testing, listening to colleagues and finaly some peace and quitness....

Cynde Lee, Now I really feel like a idiot. LOL. Bas is one that loves to dangle things in front of the cam.

Is that a picture of small wall, looking onto the shoreline, where the reef cam is? That's how I remember it looking. I sat that dive out. Relaxing on the boat.
