Good morning every body. Some are still sleeping further West, other are working, and there is still a beautiful moonset on Bonaire...
Rainy day today over France as it turned stormy after the last week heath wave. Have a nice day all.

Morning ladies... It's thermal-underwear-weather here as well, after 30º this weekend... Those worldleaders in Johannesburg better come up with some radical measures soon, the planet has gone nuts already. Damn that ***** Bush for not attending, he has the biggest responsibility of them all gr.

Anyway, exactly 7 days from now we'll be at the airport!

Actually no Annie, it makes me sad and angry when I think about it. Earth is going to pieces, and the one guy that has the power to do something about it puts up his middlefinger to the rest of us.

And it's not like it's a small problem. The climate will, in all likelyhood, collapse a lot faster than most people think. Several effects have a strenghtening effect on eachother, sending the climate into a downward spiral. But Bush doesn't understand that, or simply doesn't care.

Oh well, better try to let this go for now... I need to focus on our upcoming trip, and enjoy that... while we still can...

A boat. Dare we hope for reefcam visitors?

boat

While we wait, I have composed a little song about my upcoming visit to Bonaire. It goes witht the tune to the old song "Sixteen days".

Seven more days and what do you get?
Another plane ride and a chance to get wet.
So bossman don't you call me, 'cause you know I must go..
I sold my soul to the scuba diving store!

Sounds like that old Tennessee Ernie Ford song "16 Tons". For me it's still 77 days.

Howdy you all...read once that the BT group met on Tuesdays at 1900 Hours in Bonaire. Was that a one time deal, or ongoing event?

As a first time Bonaire "anticipatee", I am counting down the days even if there are 87 of them...that's better than yesterday when there were 88! This site tends to be addictive.
