Darlene,
Must be too early in the morning......I'm not "seeing" it.

It looks like she is coming at the camera head on and a little on it's side. You can see the lips, eye and arc of the grey that surrounds the face then an arc of deeper grey before the body of the black and yellow scales.

Renee,
I have it written down in my book (at home). But I believe it was Thursday 8th between 10:00 - 12:00. We parked the white toyota hilox in the parking space accross from the street cam. I have a large red poster sign that read Hello BT's - Ida,Tim & Kenny.
Thanks,
Ida

Renee! Thank You.
You can't really see us? Oh well. The guys were not very interested in standing there, a note said you should stand there at least five minutes.
Thanks again.
Ida

I just found out the web cam was down during this time (lasted for three hours).

Wow.... a quick check of the archives tells me that it's a sloooooooooowwwwwwww morning on the reef cam.

Then again, it's an even slower day here at the office - only 125 hours until our plane lands on Bonaire (assuming no major problems in Montego Bay :)).

Marc and Renee - are you guys all packed up and ready to go yet? I downloaded all of our dive info from the computers this weekend and packed up the last of the gear. All we have to do now is wait.........

Michael

Ida - you're welcome!

Michael - we packed and re-backed our dive gear. I think we may need to take a look at it one more time... Nine more days and we'll be there too!
I haven't calculated hours yet.

It's getting closer!

Nope... still haven't started packing yet. Not even our gear... photo-gear, that is :). Mental note to self: have to order film. A lot of it.

9 more days, and we'll be over the Atlantic by now...

I know, I know... the dogs all have names, but I can never remember them for some strange reason.
pic

How is it that I can remember every fish that has ever been named on the reef cam but I can't remember which one is Grendel and which one is Blijke?

Oh, and Cynde.... 120 hours. But I'm not counting. :)

Grendel is the big one and Blijke is the small one. I'm looking forward to meeting them as well in September.

Michael,

Just remember that Grendel is named after a mythical monster. The big one is the monster.

Bill

I was very suprised at the size of Grendel. I talked to him for several minutes but he would not even get up! LOL.

Bill,

We have friends with a white German Shepherd named Grendel, so Michael should be able to remember from now on - although I think he has Bonaire on the brain this week...

Those friends are also traveling to the island with us in about 4 days.
