Tomorrow is an odd day for us, that means a long week end except for me, I'll be back working on friday . Seems our small underwater world is awaking too. Have a nice day all.

Good morning - being the new girl on the block and not yet au fait with fish - what is Hotlips please

Morning everyone, getting some much needed rain here today, just got my pics back will start scanning them soon and will let you know where I post some of them.

Hi Angela, don't worry, I was like you a few months ago...
We gave a name to the most frequent reefcam visitors. Hotlips is the stripped Filefish, you also have Charlotte, a nice black and yellow tailed Damselfish, Bart, the Barracuda, Picasso, the Spanish Hogfish, Satchmo, the Trumpetfish, Shiva, the Octopus, Slim, the Goby and I am sure I forgot some...Sorry.

Angela, Hotlips was that nurse on M.A.S.H.... the blonde with the big... lips... .

But I think Martine meant the fish .

As far as the weather goes... It's warm, but overcast with a bit of sun now and then here today. I'm glad I'm not in Prague though!

Thanks Marc and Martine - I will get my head around them all soon - don't have a problem with the horse, the nun and the mermaid!! I too am glad that I am not in Prague, the UK has some grey boring weather but luckily not rain to that extent, poor people and such a lovely place too.

Angela, I used to live in Bristol, many years ago, I love that part of the country.
I think the mermaid could be Ariel, (Not sure.)

Oh yes, I know about Ariel, but in the spirit of, I assume, naming things by what they resemble e.g. HotLips, I just thought the mermaid looked less innocent and ethereal than the original - hence Muriel - after all she is hanging about with a bunch of divers!!!!

Remind me... who was Muriel? Or was this before my time?

No Marc, I didn't get any sunburn, but how cool and refreshing was the frozen light beer I sipped in my armchair while sunbathing. What time are you leaving work ?

Actually Marc I think it is - Oh, I just remebered a better one, anyone remeber George and Mildred - she had really red hair too - so maybe she should be Mildred!!

Muriel... I thought that was a name of an angel... Like Gabriel, Ezechiel and so on....

Just back from school - they had to replace the doorknob on my classroom door, but at least I can finally get in. Angela, like Martine said, the mermaid is Ariel from "The Little Mermaid". They manufactured and sold models of all the characters. I wonder if someone will clue us in on the "Diving Nun" .

See Marc, you truly got your revenge...In two weeks from now, you and Kitty will be on Bonaire and I'll be stuck here...
