Hi, guys! I'll bet it's great to be back home again, eh? Jake, how long did it take you to get suited up and into the water again?? LOL. I'll bet Linda missed her painting/alone time, too, right? Nice to have you back. Carole

Oh man is it great to be back home again - got in last night - 4 bags made it on AA, one did not. Boy did we miss Bonaire. It was so nice to have smiling faces everywhere we went for errands this morning, and small personal chats with folks. Definitely missed that community feeling while abroad (although BT compensated for some of that :) ).

Annie did a great job housesitting for us, especially considering she had no experience with our house, animals, etc. prior to starting the job.

4 weeks gone was too long (or maybe it was too long in one place (NH) while gone). We did a 6 week trip about 2 years ago in the fall and that seemed to go better, but we weren't in any one place longer than a week either.

I haven't gotten into the water yet, and am not sure I will before the end of the week :-( - too much work to take care of, plus Linda started with after-school home schooling the kids today at the studio (new schedule is painting & personal art projects in the mornings 3-5 days a week while kids are in regular school (which started today) and then home schooling/kid activities every weekday afternoon. Web design work fills in the small gaps :-) )

Ah, dushi Boneiru!

Thanks for the welcome back!

Jake
