Soaked is an understatement... And since today maybe the only positive exception to the rest of the week, the whole country has taken the day off, loaded the family into the car and joined the queue for De Efteling, Six Flags, Burger's Zoo and so on...

Good Day everyone, it sounds like the weather is improving for everyone, 56 F this am when I took our dogs out, first time we are below 60 since we got back form Bomaire. Looks like a great on the island to day, as every day is.

Yeah well, I'm allergic to cats, and sometimes dogs too. Besides, I prefer looking at them in nature

Yes, it will be my first time on the island. We (my gf and I) will go to Curacao first, to visit her dad, and then go over to Bonaire, where we will be staying with her sister. 17 days in total, a minimal 10 of those on Bonaire.

That should be Bonaire, need to get my first cup of coffee down......

Hey Marc... I see in an earlier post that you'll be there in 3 weeks. My wife an I will be there in just 17 short days. Have a GREAT trip... you will not be disappointed.

In fact, it looks like there may be several of us there on the island at around the same time maybe we should try have a get together for dinner someplace - maybe on Friday August 30th? If there seems to be enough interest, I'll post something over in the "Everything Else" section.

Sounds great, but the 30th we'll still be over on Curacao... We either fly or ferry in on Sundaymorning (1st). So if you could plan it a bit later... or is that too late for you?
Where are you staying?

Too bad on the dates... we fly back to the US on the 31st. We're staying at Happy Holiday Homes. Last time around it was Captain Don's and we really enjoyed it. This time we wanted something a little more private that's outside of the main resort areas.

Pity; if our plans change though, I'll let you know!
