Jake, Where are the tools kept for doing a deep maintenance on the Cams.... I know I just can't forget about work!!! It's a pity you're not on Bon otherwise I would have been quite happy to spend a day helping you.

I will certainly promise that over the next two weeks the WindsurfCam will be cleaned at least twice a day!! ROGER I'm a commming!!!

I wish I was back home too... There's no real tool repository anywhere. A ladder and decent Swiss Army Knife with Philips head screwdriver would suffice for the North BeachCam. In my brief visit home a couple of weeks ago I didn't have a chance to figure out what the problem was with the camera, but I suspect a cabling issue - there's a power cable and Ethernet cable going into the camera housing. Might want to trace it.

I don't know how long you're on island for, but if it's a couple of weeks Martin will be there, and he helped install that camera, and so might be able to provide some guidance.

Yep, I'm on island for two weeks 10th till 23rd so will have to try and meet up with Martin and have a bit of a Techy time I have a new toy (Eee Asus) so will be contactable

Can someone help me out here...we were told no one was permitted to add/move/place sand onto beaches anywhere on Bonaire. I ask this as this is what we were told by some folks after Omar tore up the Divi beach and turned it into a rock pile last October. As of Xmas when we were back there it was still a pile of rocks/coral rubble.

Is this a fact about depositing or altering the natural sand/order of things on the beachfront? Hmmmmm.

Any word on Divi's beach today?

Yep, Cecil was spot on. Certainly wouldn't want to encounter a Sandworm while out on the beach!
