YIKES!!!

Sounds like a domestic lot today! I think I'll go clean a toilet!!

Dreams folks. Just so long as you are vacuuming with dreams of Bonaire sun, breezes, and reefs - you'll maintain your sanity, or what is left of it. Or maybe, you are really just crazy anyway. no matter!

Unfortunately I am in the "doing stuff" mode today as well, and can't zone-out in the Bonaire internet universe all day.

I like Maggie's style. Now she knows what that street cam is about. More posers!!!

Have a great day. Bundle up Martine. Don't what the chills.

Hi Janeece - Well we are all probably a little, or a lot, nutty! Just need to hang out with nutties of the same stripe I guess. Hey - Bonaire Talk!!

Common ground - us all wanting to live in the same place. Just saw an inteview with Deepak Choopra. He was saying some guy did a study observing people in restaurants and how often they touched in one hour during their conversations.

Latin America - 180, Italy - 75, America - 2, Britain - he sat observing for an hour and nothing happened!! Direct correlation in the population with cardio vascular problems and lack of touch. So get out there and get physical!! (I just gave the cat a hug. HA! smiley

So no matter which way the water swirls in your toilet, keep on cleaning.

Cheers,

Bill

Barbara,

Excellent question. Hmmm? With regard to specific "locations", GOOD question!

Strictly a personal observation, but I have experienced medical professionals who relate empathetically and probably personally benefit from, and help others, in the way in which they "touch" with caring and compassion. So I think they probably benefit themselves as well as giving benefit.

However, I have also experienced many others who might as well have been checking the radiator cap in a car engine!! Doubt if they got anything from it, and they certainly didn't send any positive vibes out!!

So in conclusion - "connection" would have to accompany the "touch"?

Now about that massage.............

Bill

Cynde...Maggie and I used the tire today..it is SO hot and light winds..not too comfy today..I am spent. Wil go get it soon. Jake told me the doggies like to go to the beach but once there they would NOT come in to the gate..in fact they wandered WAY down the beach. I was so scared they would run away. Finally both kids are in. Now if I can find the cat...

Snorkeling in front of the house is great. Maggie had a blast. She is now eating popcorn reading one of the MANY fish ID books J and L own.

Ok, back to work.

I was so glad thought I got one of those reefcombers guide that was plastic that I could take underwater so instead of saying aw that black fish with the blue spots (yellowtail damselfish) is beautiful I could know what it was really called. I will never look at the underwater world with the same eyes again when we were flying over a land mass with hardly any development along certian coast line of the country not sure if it was hati or cuba I saw all that beautiful water and thought oh how would I like to be down thier checking out what is underwater.

No no Annie,
I had the chance to swimm with wild dolphins in Reunion island, they were around 20, hard to say. We were returning from a dive, and they headed the boat. We stopped the boat and we returned all in the water, just snorkeling, but the dolphins were a bit shy and didn't let us approach, I mean they were flying away, but not too far...They were curious and shy at the same time. This experience remains one of my best dive memories.

well i have heard different things from different people once on the local news they talked about that dolphins in the wild have hurt some people but it could be just wanting to keep people from trying to get from jumping in and trying to interact in the water with them as it was while thier was alot of dolphins off the coast. My boss said they went to a swim with a dolphin encounter with another couple and that while her and her husband had never had any kind of surgery thier dolphins let them pet them but the other couple the husband or the wife cant remember exatcly which one had some kind of surgery and the male dolphin kept rubbing against that persons body and the female dolphin wass upset and got aggressive so it was not a good experience and I also heard if it is around your monthly cycle time is not a good time to get in the water with them

Martine and Christine, Very interesting behaviour. Christine you rang a bell their with the montly cycle, I remember seeing on Discovery, a woman diver encountered a dolphin during that time of the month, and he did get quite amourous with her, did not attempt to hurt her though. The thing is, I suppose you just have to be very careful at all times. It just goes to show, also, that all species suffer from jealousy too. Annie B.

I think I saw this program too. Well, I can't be a good test next time I meet dolfins to proof this theory, cause...well... you know what I mean looking at my profile...The only dolphins I was able to pat were in Marineland california. Scrubby skin to touch, but nice, marvelous, tender, friendly, amusing, teasing, wonderful dolfins. I truly love them and dream to approach them closer.
