I made all my goodies for today's party last night, so the house still smells like chocolate and kahlua.

Morning, Eileen, Kathy, Judy and Tribs,

Tribs, Here's a pic of Brandon and I at the downtown cam. The sign would have to be pretty big to read, I think if you did. I have seen a few with signs we couldn't read there.

Thanks Debbie. I'm trying to figure out what we are going to do at the cams. :-) Maybe if we put Kaytlyn on Wes' shoulders and give her a sign...

Thanks Jeanine, I'll alert the powers that Wii.

The line to get the Wii at toys r us midtown yesterday went up Broadway to 45th street, and then almost all the way to sixth avenue.

Tribs, Brandon wants the Wii too for Christmas, I was one of those folks who got up at an awfully early hour to stand in line to see if I could get one when they first came out. After missing it at 4 stores by 4 people, I got lucky at Toys R Us and ended up being #46 in line there and they had 68 units. Man, I am getting too old to do that anymore. Left the house at 6am and got home at 11:30 am that day. :-) The only thing I would ever stand in lines like that before was Jimmy Buffet tickets and Billy Joel tickets. LOL!

Just dad's to get now but need to do a turkey and chestnut casserole for our training day tomorrow. Rather than everyone bringing their own packed lunch we are all bringing a Christmas type menu item so should be fun.

Some one should get Mercy or Ann to ask this guy his name. That way we will know how to address him next year. :-)

I started my serious shopping this morning. That's why I take this week off. It was a little sad to shop in a T shirt and shorts for Christmas gifts! I'll have some lunch and head back out.....

A lady here got lucky with getting a playstation, got in her car and went straight home. Got out of her car and a car pulled over to the curb behind her, 3 guys got out in hoods and masks, and at GUNPOINT motioned to the game. They followed her home. She knew without a doubt that all they wanted was the game, they took it and drove off. It's getting too scary what people will do for a game.

Very little activity here...

Good morning/afternoon everyone!!

Gail, that's a very scary story. It's a sad commentary about people today, I agree. Glad to hear the lady is okay, aside from probably being a little shaken up. :-(

Not much to post, except this inviting beach wish I could crawl thru my puter screen, and also that the weather station looks to be operating again. :-) Thanks to all involved in that!!! :-):-):-)

Gail yikes! That is scary, I do not understand the behaviour sometimes nowadays.

The inspection went well. The house looks great, everything is coming together. Even the bathroom that I do not like looks better now, and after paint and decor:-), it will look good. I see us with all our kids in there now! I can see our future!:-) We have to go to the lawyers in 1 hr.

I hope everyone is having a great afternoon:-)!

Tribs and Seb, I swore it is the last time I stand in line for anything again like that. :-) I would have had Brandon stand in line, but it is not safe to do that in today's world, shame...., He even offered to sleep out overnight to wait, heck, we even had the cops come when I was in line, as some folks got out of control. I got worried as I had already stood in line for an hour and half and thought maybe they might send us all home.

Gail, that is scary to read about what happened with that poor woman. I really wish the makers of these games or whatever you call them would make enough for everyone, then we wouldn't have all this sort of stuff happening. Media, that's all they hype it up, not necessary ya know in my opinion.

Hey Superturtle!!!!! I got your card today and I want to thank you for the lovely pictures from when we were on Bonaire! :-) Brought back some great memories. Wish you and Karen could be there this coming February again! You made my day!

Judy, wish it was a party :-(. I have a bad cold and have to do a training day with important people when my staff could do with a lighthearted review of what we do. I really try to be a good boss but sometimes the powers that be just conspire to make me look like the big bad wolf ( with a snotty nose).

Hang in there Julia!

The lady in Longwood, Florida with(out) the Playstation was OK, but get this - she was chastizing herself that she drove home from the store without looking to see if she was being followed. What a crock of sheet. I've thought of putting packages in the van, and then moving it to the other side of the mall to finish shopping, but never did I consider watching if someone followed me home. Outrageous.

Good night all!

We had a similar problem with the playstation things here. Turns out it's not the game that's the biggest motivation, but the huge amount of money they can get by auctioning it off on e-bay! I think they can just have it. Stealing kids Christmas presents is really low.
