A quick primer on getting your sings visible.

Two major elements;
1) Know the time.
2) Get close to the cam, then closer.

You have to have a digital watch set to the correct time, I use Greenwich Time. The cam is automatically synchronized to universal time. The other thing you have to know is when the cam is capturing. This is the time in the picture frame. If you do this then you can hold the sign for 20 seconds or so then hang around for two minutes till the next capture (plenty of time to gab or sip).

These camera have very wide angle with lots of depth of field. I am not sure of the minimum focus distance but I would guess it's 3" or less. So you can put the sign 6" out and it will fill the frame and be in focus. Stand on a chair and use the bar cam, it's lower. Unlike a (places left hand L on forehead) from earlier this week.
