16 days and a wakeup! Can't wait to get there and dive in. Our first group is already down there but with the way the webcams have been going haven't seen any of them. Is there someplace where we can take a look at what may have been captured but not posted? Well got to get back to work hope everyone has a great day!

I know this question has been asked a million times but where is the underwater camera? I will be in Bonaire next week!!!!!!!!! I'm a bit excited. Anyway can anyone tell me where I get in the water and how I find the camera so I can hold a sign up to all my friends?

Hi Angela!

The ReefCam is located about 100 feet out into the water past the pier at Eden Beach Resort. The ReefCam is mounted on a cubical cement mooring, and resides at a depth of approximately 60 feet (20 meters), facing the stern of the wreck of the sailing yacht, Bakanal. We, here at BT, call the wreck, Willy.

Pennie, you can look at the archives to see if your friends were there. Would help if you knew the date as that will be a lot of pages of archives to go through. I don't know if you are a member of the webcams, but I think you have to be a member in order to search the archives. If you know a date, I would be happy to look for you.

Wow - it looks like we have had a fish attack.. I wonder if what the diver had was something like the pied piper and he has lured all the fish to the reef cam just for us?

It's so good to have 5 out of six cams going! Yipee!! The other cam needs a new location I am thinking as that one is kinda boring looking at an empty restaurant all day.. (hint, hint).

O...M...G...I just fainted...I saw that JERRY WAS ON THE WEBCAM THREAD and I passed out and my head hit the keyboard and my computer crashed...I have now successfully re-booted and all seems to be well. I don't think I lost any work...thank gawd.

I have adopted a donkey for 3 years now, her name is Sandy.

I feel dizzy...I need to go look for my helmet...

O.K. If all went well today, Cecil should be on Bon right now! About those palm fronds on the cam, if some kind gentleman could please remove them for us, we would not keep getting snake-eels over the cam.

Mara, I keep thinking it is a slithering eel or snake hanging down! I just went outside and there was this spider that was brown, but it's belly was neon orange with little black dots on it. How Halloweeny is that and it was huge. Scared me to death as it was right outside my front door, was afraid to kill it, last time I stepped on a spider, all these little babies ran from it! Ewww!

Well, I talked enough that I noticed that the web cams are trying to catch up again. Yeh!

I wonder if that was Cecil????? Probably not. OK - EWWWWWWWWWW with the spider babies. While I was eating dinner I noticed a big brown spider on the back deck spinning away. I think their webs are fascinating but creepy crawly does me in every time.

Well good night Debbie - night Judy. I MUST be more motivated at work tomorrow and cannot cam all day - it's bad for me. Work piles up.

Spiders, though admittedly creepy especially when large, really do a great service to the environment by eating "bad" bugs. I don't love them in the house and I hate walking in to a web, but it's a mind over matter thing. My, doesn't that sound like I just got up on my soap box! ha. Sorry.
