Hi all-

My husband and I will be arriving in Bonaire in 44 days! We would love to pose in front of a webcam (yes, to make our loved ones jealous!) and would like to know the time difference that time of year (Does Bonaire have day light savings time?). We will be there from Nov 24th-December 4th. We live in Colorado so we are on MST. Any help would be appreciated

The best way would be to take me with you. I can coordinate all cam times and also be your official UW photographer. I only require a round trip ticket and lodging.

Now why is it whenever I ask a question about Bonaire someone is gracious enough to offer to help out so long as there is an airline ticket involved? Your expensive though... lodging too?? ha!

Unless you really want them to see you live, just make a mental note when you had your photo taken and then you can go into the webcams and save the photo to your computer and email it to your friends and family.

I think I will do that but I know some people who want to try to find us while we are down there....

Bon stays on Eastern Time all the time, so does that help? Post a profile pic and also tell us before you leave, and we'll make sure to say, "Here's Jennifer!" and post your pic here. Take signs, too. BIG ones.

Before you leave home make the sign, but how you say...........
Use a pillow case or bath towel. Then using spray paint, black works best, IN LARGE TYPE, print your message.

Hey Jennifer, I could have included meals and adult beverages! Make a sign or have some sort of object to hold up so they know who you are. I hope when you return that you will post a great trip report.

Bonaire is on "Atlantic Time", one time zone east of "Eastern Time". They do not go no Daylight Savings Time. Thus, now that "eastern" is on "Daylight", New York and Bonaire are the same time; when "Eastern" goes back to "Standard", Bonaire will 1 hour different (6:00 am NY will be 7:00 am Bonaire)

Thanks for all your help. We will definitly make a sign at home and let ya'll know when we are headed down (43 more days!!) We also plan on a trip report upon our return. We are soo excited and we seem to talk about Bonaire at least once a day!
