Just checking in and find them still down.

Just a point of order - the WebCams never went down.

The connection they use to get data to the web server in the U.S. went down. That connection came back up this morning, and the images are now live again, and the archives on the web server are being updated with the images that were captured but couldn't be sent out for viewing.

I know most of you don't care what the reason is, but it is a matter of personal pride for Dan and myself that our proprietary system design is such that only serious physical issues (like cut cables) tend to impact the actual operation of the WebCams themselves. Now, as to the connection from the WebCams to the rest of the world - not much we can do about that without unlimited funding to run our own ISP and network connections...

Jake I find it amazing how you & Dan managed to keep this project going despite the difficulty of maintaining cables, lenses, computers AND dealing what can be an unreliable network connection! THANKS again for all your work!
Looking for the donkeys who appear to be scarce this a.m....I just realized the donkey cam updates every minute instead of every two..thirty pages with only a rare donkey part this morning!
