Yes, the cams will jump like that when there develop a 'lag' It's the way they catch up to actual time. Unfortunately, the 4 cams at Eden are routed through Flamingo TV - and they have had serious problems in the past with 'packet loss'. When that happens, the cams remain stuck on the last viable signal. Not to worry though, once they get straightened out, they will start refreshing at an incredible rate, and if we are Really lucky, everything that was missed will be transferred into the archives.

I hope that helps a bit. Now, we just have to wait and see how long it takes Flamingo to get their problems fixed - again.

So, for now, we have to rely upon the donkeys for our fun!!

I pinged the webcam gods and it appears it is indeed...the loverly FLAMINGO TV flubb adubb dubb...so not only are they messing with the local tv channels...they are messing with our cams...I think we need to start and email campaign and charge them for all the therapy we need as a result of the down cammage...

Good morning, all. Actually, its almost noon here, but had to leave home as soon as I got up this morning, so no time to check in.

Cams are still down--or down again, whichever. Except, of course, for the donkey cam. But where are all the donkeys? I didn't go through all the archives, but I think they must have been beamed up.

Got the hot tub all nicely cleaned up yesterday. At least the inside; still have to clean and oil the outside, but that will have to wait for a warmer day. It was so nice yesterday, even the mosquitoes were having a grand time, especially all over me. But today, there's no mosquitoes because it is raining. Ah, spring; it just can't make up its mind.
