So would I! I was doing a quick search to see if there is a dust cloud or smoke cloud over Bon, but I didn't turn up anything yet.

Eileen, they are hoping today, or should I say tonight - we can close (the repairs are complete, the inspector is now satisfied, but the title search turned up a problem of a transposed number that they've been working to fix). But my van is ready and I have to take the rental car back and get it after work, then if we close - drive back to Tampa. Lots of miles and time. I'd rather do it tomorrow. There's no guarantee they'll have the title problem fixed, though they tell me every day it should be "tomorrow".

I can feel your frustration. Anything to do with a move is so stressful, I hope everything works out for you and gets sorted out verrrry quickly!

Kathy sorry to hear about more problems with the house. At least they are catching the issues. After we closed, we found a boundary dispute with property lines. My neighbors driveway is considerably over on our property. No one caught it at closing...none of the lawyers nor the realtors. 10 years now and it is still a bad situation.

Guys I have to give you bad news ---- I have been laid off and my last day is next Friday, 3/31. When I was told, I felt like lighting had struck me. I work for the previous owner of the company and do his personal matters so the new company is not willing to continue paying me. This is the 1st time it has happen to me. So I need all the good vibes, if anyone knows of someone looking for a bilingual assistant - do let me know. At this point I am willing to move.

Kathy - I can understand the closingg part! When I bought the land to build on all went fine closed and everything. I was the first one of a group of five to get a outside survey of the land and what he found was one word was wrong....according to everyones deed we all should have been on the other side of the road. NOT one person had ever caught it. So it was fixed - but I took the bank who did my morgage and who did a deed search etc, to small claims court to get the extra money I spent for them to do a deed search returned - and I won. Who Knew!

DonkeyCam is back because I went to the Donkey Sanctuary and reset some hardware there a little while ago :-)

Marina gave me a tour of the upcoming Donkey Safari drive through - very nice. A bunch of small picnic spots to take a break in the fresh air with sun cover and barriers to prevent donkeys from helping themselves to your picnic.

Elivra I am very sorry about your being laid off. That is a gut wrenching feeling. It's happened to me 3 times now. It's never fun even when you suspect it will happen. Being bilingual should get you a job where ever you want! There are tons of jobs in the Midwest. Language line is a telephone based support that our courts use frequently. You don't even have to work on site. It might work short term. I think it's www.languageline.com or org. I'll keep my eye out. Seems I've seen a couple of jobs like yours in the local paper a couple of times lately. I'll look. If you need any help with resumes, etc. I have a couple of good sources.

Surely they'll get your contract stuff worked out soon, Kathy. What a mess. I think our driveway actually is a bit on the neighbors property. Done many years before we owned it. Fortunately, no one really cares. I like the toll gate idea though. That was funny.

Eileen, I guess your little "it" will come when she/he is darn good and ready! Go get a pedicure today maybe. You need a little pampering and will give you something nice to look at while in labor. ;-)
