Cams are working! But the donkey cams seem stuck.

Joel had to leave really early this morning to go out of town to do a concrete plant inspection. Hopefully nothing will happen today!

With all the noise this morning, Quinn has been up since then!!!

Hi Judy and Elvira. Well poor little Sasha has giardia, which means most likely so do my other cats. I'm just glad we found out what was wrong and it is something that can be fixed. I just want to add that giving cats medicine is not fun!

Judy, Brandon is much better. Turned out to be a stomach virus that lasted two days and has been good to go since. Seems he got it from either Ms Caren's hubby or one of the kids in her class as both had it as well. So, for two days, it was not fun for him, but glad it passed after that. Gregg and I were lucky not to get it. Enjoyed seeing you guys again too and all the other BT folks as well. Special trip this year for sure!

I am due 2 weeks today. Some days I feel it will come 'today' and others, later. I definately feel different than last time, different symptoms even now!

I had to give one of my cats dramamine when we traveled because if I didn't, she would HOWL and run around the inside of the car the entire trip....well, have you ever tried to give a cat a pill? Hey there Grasshopper... pills and cats are not a good combination. This time I have liquid meds and the little snot won't swallow. She lets it sit in her mouth and it foams up. Last night she had a beard and mustache full of meds. I couldn't stop laughing and she was not amused.

Morning all, looks a bit dreary on Bon, but not as bad as here.

Day off today... was SUPPOSED to be doing Ice certification (OK, I'm a bit not right in the head, but diving is diving right???) today and this weekend, but a cold has settled into my chest and I'm coughing until I nearly pass out. I'm thinking that wouldn't be good underwater, so I bowed out of class

Second diving event arranged this year... second time it fell apart. I think the god's are conspiring against me.

Oh well, I'm meeting my Mom in Madison and we are seeing the IMAX Deep Sea 3-D moving and having lunch. I'll be living through the movie. LOL!

Welcome to BT, Stuart! Those images are done by our Timmy and Annie B! They have a special program on their computer that enables them to do make things move around is the best way I can put it. I am not so good at all that, but I really enjoy the annimations a lot. Maybe Timmy or Annie will elaborate on this as I am clueless of what program you guys use

Hi Cynde, I am wondering if that gravel is being put down for the drive through safari that the sanctuary is going to start in a month or so? The gift shop there has some real cute t-shirts that were designed by Marianne herself for the "new" safari drive thru. You will have to pay to do the drive thu, but it makes sense as there are over 300 donkeys now and it used to have only 100 something. Donations just aren't coming in enough to support all the donkeys I was told when we visited. They also need some volunteers to help out give Marianne a break too. She was exhausted when I saw her caring for all of them.

Stuart - there are many "anni-mation" programs avalible...I use Jasc animation shop 3...not sure what program Annie uses....and yah this web cam site is neat for sure....

Debbie, my "Sandy" the donkey we adopted a couple years ago lives out in the Safari area. She came to the Sanctuary when her mom got injured and now she is free!
