The boat is back. Must have returned in the dark. Looked a bit empty without it. Nice pastel morning, hopefully bringing us lots of sunshine

I think it is art that is put on the wall near Eden resort (I read it somewhere, forgot where, actually) Some kind of exposition...

An art exposition sounds pretty cool. Those are some big paintings(?).

Speaking of art shows, I seem to remember reading a post somewhere where there was going to be an underwater art show starting in December and running a month. Something like that. I wonder if that is what they are preparing for installing in the ocean? I remember wishing I could see that and lots of folks were chatting about it. I won't get there till February and it will be done, but it sure sounded interesting. My bet is that this might be the beginning of that.

Yes, there is going to be an underwater art show, called 40 feet Under, at Bongo's. See website:
http://www.oldbonairetalk.com/newsgroup/messages/27/183240.html Not sure if that will work, but look under Everything Else Bonaire: Underwater Art Show, I did find it, but not sure if I gave right web site.

Hi all! I haven't emailed for months. Still enjoy looking at the web cams when I miss the beach. Finally after planning for some time, we will be arriving in Bonaire for our first trip there on the 30th. What kind of activities are planned for New Year's Eve and New Year's Day?
We will be staying at Lion's Dive. Will it be close to any of the action? We didn't rent a car yet, wanted to wait until after the holiday. Is that a wise move? We figured we would have quite a bit to do around the immediate area for the first few days. Also, if anyone remembers, and I doubt it since it's been so long, I am the nurse-midwife from New Jersey. A long time ago when I emailed, Dara Walter emailed that her friend, Caren, had the local midwife deliver both of her children. Does Caren have an email that I can reach her at or does the local midwife have an email or does she log on to this website? I would love to meet the midwife when I am there. We will be in Bonaire until Jan. 8th. Hope you are schedulling plenty of wonderful weather for us. Look forward to hearing from some of you. Gwenne Baile
