Maybe everyone's already gone diving, Smack. :-) I was looking back at when we were there, and yep, by this time we were in the water or already out for the first dive of the day.

Nothing better in the world to wake a person up! I know you agree - I saw you EARLY mornings, too. lol A dive before breakfast, what a way to start a day.

A *lot* of the folks there were late risers. They're mostly Dutch, so they're probably jetlagged (Bonaire is GMT-4, Nederlands are GMT+1). I rarely saw anyone up before 10am, and only heard a couple of groups speaking English the whole 2 weeks there..
I kept waking up at 4 to 5am (long before sunrise) since Phoenix is GMT-7. I was rarin' to go by 7am, but nobody else was.

Weird thing, Bon in summer is one hour ahead of us. But we'd be up at 5:30 their time, which is 4:30 our time. lol Just excited to start the day I guess, didn't want to waste a minute of daylight in paradise. :-)

Well, this person is doing a two in one. Sleep ON the beach. I'm envious.

Hello to Everyone!

Been really busy last two days! Got 12 cinn. breads done and all tucked away in freezer. Also, I am have my Thanksgiving dinner today, so turkey is in the oven, be ready in an hour or so, used the bag method, can't wait to try it out. Made stuffing, twice baked cheddar bacon baked potatoes, etc. and a homemade pumpkin pie. Whew! I'm tired out from being in the kitchen for two days, but I'm sure we will have lots of leftovers!

Nothing on the cams right now, so will peek in after dinner! Debbie

Thanks for the beautiful sunset tonight, Kathy and Margarita. I had a wonderful dinner. Turkey came out great in the bag. Very juicy and brown on the outside!

I believe that is one of the best sunsets I've seen in a long time, I'm really glad you girls caught it for the rest of us BT'rs who couldn't make it.

My kids are decorating the Christmas tree right now listening to Christmas music. I could almost cry, my daughter, Tiffany, will be going to college in a year. I will miss the "little" girl I see right now as she decorates the tree with her boyfriend and girlfriend. I do still have my little man, Brandon who is 10 for awhile, but I am just getting sentimental right now.

Have a great evening to everyone who passes.

Wow, the "moon-set" picture was very cool, Kathy!

Stan brought all kinds of pics from his trip there for us to see at Thanksgiving. Let me tell you, they are great! Hopefully he'll finish cleaning up the colors etc. on them and get some of the best ones posted here before too long.

Read how everyone loved doing the "turkey in a bag" thing. I've used them for years now and just love the way it comes out so moist _and_ cuts the cooking time! My 18 pounder went in at 8:30am and was done 3 hours later. Beats getting up at 6:00am to have it done by 1:00pm, not to mention not heating up the kitchen so much(she says in a menopausal moment...lol)! The bag works great for chicken and dumplings too;o)

Happy weekend all, one more day to enjoy!
