Barely had time to lurk today, but I'm taking some time to watch tonite's sunset. It's so relaxing. :-)

Do ya'll see the gorgeous blue eye in the 18:36? Stunning.

The colors were so beautiful tonight, I was expecting a rainbow. All that water in the air really caught the colors.

Has anyone ever seen a rainbow on the cams?

LOL Kathy!! They really go fast this time of year. Kind of a bummer.:-( But at least I get to see them :-) (since I don't get on the 'puter at home - spend too much time on it during the day).

Hahaha, Kathy. I thought it looked a bit like a cow. We did used to see rainbows when the cams were at their old location. Annie B.

Good Evening! I haven't been on much either. Still the sniffies with everyone. Mine is getting worse (lack of sleep and tending to Quinn). I hope it goes away by the weekend, I am in a wedding party! Quinn is better, I think my hands will permanently smell like eucalyptus(sp) now LOL! From all the baths!

Cynde, I hope everything gets better with you! We are sending you our hugs!

Annie B, love the flicky from the previous thread:-).

I wish everyone a good night!

Cynde, hope everything goes well with the Infectious Disease specialist and they get the infection under control. Praying for you.

Eileen, that is the fate of mothers every where. We are always the last to get well because we have to take care of everyone else.

Hi Eileen,

Hope you get better soon. Mothers never can just stay in bed and rest. But a mother can do this:
About 20 minutes before going to bed, drink a juice glass of Rock N Rye! It really works. An older relative of mine told me to do this and in the morning I would be better and for colds, it works great! You sleep great too! :-)

Thank-you :-), I definately appreciate more what my mom did for us when we were sick and she was sick. Debbie, we only have rum here right now:-). I agree, remedies like that work:-).

Even though I do not like seeing Quinn ill, I also am thankful that he is just sick with just a cold. My heart goes out to the parents with children who are seriously ill and/or in hospital.

Eileen, try putting the rum in hot milk with a touch of brown sugar. Tastes wonderful and an old English way of driving away the cold weather, and it tastes really good.

Pete
