Hi Annie, Hi Lisa,
I'm sitting here at the computer just checking out the cams, was kinda boring, nothing, then bam! These two divers came out of nowhere and put on such a lovely show for us. Can anyone I.D. them? Put a smile on my face :-) Got to get ready to go to work.

Lisa. Yes that looks like Tom, and I think the other guy maybe Henk, but not sure. Annie B.

I quite like this view.

Bushy hair guy was Henk. Tom was a fantastic help all day, ending with helping redig a trench for the newly repositioned BeachBarCam, and starting with him and Smack assembling and installing PVC for the new temperature probe, which is technically functional at present, and Dan's doing the programming up north to start delivery of the probe data to the Bonaire WebCams Web site.

Tom & Smack - Thanks again guys! You were fantastic! Could not have done this without you!

I also updated the firmware in the wireless access point at Eden Beach, meaning that folks can use Boingo (a wireless access provider) to get Internet access at Bongo's and Eden Beach (this is one of Dan's projects).

Jake

Wow. Looks like Jake won't need the polarizing filter after all. The new location ought to solve that quite handily. Hard to tell if the IR LEDs will illuminate the scene sufficiently at night, what with the rain and all this evening. I like the positioning, Jake! We'll have to see a full day's worth tomorrow to catch the full effects from the repositioning, but evenings look great.

Dunno if Eden & Bongo's want to spring for the electricity, but I have a couple of old military IR covers for headlights that'd allow you to boost the night time illumination with one or two offroad truck floods. You'd probably want to add a sundown switch so it wouldn't add a funny IR tint to the daytime shots. Now, where did I pack those IR transmissive filters.....

Annie, she's beautiful and happy, (and I'm very happy, too) and now we're all very sleepy. :-)

Had to come back and see your flicky before I get in jammies. Is it really raining? I thought those orbs were just the lighting. I hope it's rain!

Night ya'll.
