Good morning to all ,

stunning pictures yesterday , I still remember the first time I saw a barracuda "live" , primitive genes started to growl immediately :-)

Kathy , sunset was abolute perfect, thank you for capturing it.

Hang in there southerners , just watched NOAA, it is frightening.

The good news is , not that it is of any help to you , we have a sunny bright morning with a few sheepclouds , white and fluffy.

Coffee anyone?

sjosss

Thanks for the coffee Jos, but I'm having tea with honey. I have this nasty cold, which didn't made me sleep last night. Sore throat again, and due to the coughing my arm and shoulder are hurting too :-(
But anyway: good morning to all, hope you feel better than I do! lights

Good morning Karin, Sjos, Stan and all other,
Thanks for the coffee Sjos. Karin, you should try a "wet dog", maybe it helps to cure the sore throat. Hope you feel better today. You can also mix lemon juice and honey and sip. Very efficient :o)

The rains from Ivan have finally started here (just northwest of Atlanta Ga). Forecast is for 2 inches or rain today and 50mph winds.

We are visiting our grandson at school (first grade) today for grandparents lunch.

Enjoy some Starbucks coffee.

Is there any indication down there when the reef cam takes a picture? I want to "one-up" the flowered bathing cap. I have a hilarious mask, if I can find it, but I may need to hold my breath to wear it. I can only get a 3 minute breath hold on a good day.

If the first thing that pops into your mind is "SEA MONSTER!", then that'll be me

Hi Ilona - not sure about the cuda?

Hi Wieste - you first need to save the capture on your computer and the post in your message as follows:
type - image
after the word image insert {name of pic} - make sure that it is surrounded by the {} brackets and the pic is a jpg file. Also be careful - no spaces after the word image. Good luck!

Top of pagePrevious messageNext messageBottom of page Link to this message  By Mary Mueller (Supreme BonaireTalker - Post #3143) on Thursday, September 16, 2004 - 11:00 am:     Edit PostPrint Post

Stan - I have never seen any indication on when the cam takes the pics - I usually just wait for 4 minutes - maybe you minutes will be okay! Would love to see the mask! When are you going down there?

Wieste don't forget the backslash:
\image {1}

(no spaces!)

After you type that another screen will pop up and ask you to attach your file.

Hi everyone.
After months, nay, YEARS of lurking, getting mentions from high-profile BT-ers (even attending Jake's Newyear barbecue), and ofcourse scaring BT with a plastic skull in front of the cams I am now posting my first message.
My name is Michiel, though the Wannadive crew have also bestowed the nickname Shrek on me. I have been diving Bonaire since 1979 and I am now in the process of moving to the island.

I came across a picture of main street Bonaire. I don't know if you all have seen it before or not, but it gives a better idea than the cams did of what the storm looked like.

(This is my first image post and may go awry. If that annoying 'YOUR IMAGE HERE' shows, you can, for now, see the original picture here)
